The BBC being The BBC is overkilling this. It's a waste of licence-fee payers' money, and cannot be justified. On the contrary, the abuses of vulnerable young white females up North eg Rochdale,Rotherham, Leeds, Blackburn, etc, by groups of mainly Pakistani cab drivers and some of their relatives were little reported (if at all) and not given the same airtime for over 2 decades than this saga with Mr Wallace.
The BBC needs to show more professionalism esp in their editorial department. |

By:
How anyone can defend Mr Wallace's abhorrent behaviour towards his female (only female) colleagues is beyond my comprehension. Imagine the young females were your wife, daughter, niece, granddaughter, etc. Then little doubt their "sympathetic" views on Mr Wallace's abhorrent behaviour towards his female colleagues will be history too.

The whole thing is a nonsense. Innuendo is a permanent fixture on british tv, the only thing that appears to have changed is who is permitted to use it. I watch scd for betting and it's litterec with innuendo, before the watershed. The other day they dressed Pete in tight pink trousers and everyone on the show was laughing around the 'bulge' and the obvious inferences. Of course it's the harpies and gays, can say whatever they want and free to gush all over the younger looking men.

Our eurovision entry this year, as I alluded to already, produced by the bbc was some take off of a gay gang bang in a grim toilet. see for yourselves. ffs

Impossible you are doing the same here you do everywhere, whether it be bookies, Nicky Henderson et al. Judge and Jury whilst in this case ignoring that he is "Alleged" not convicted of whatever he is accused of. I doubt many will disagree that you are guilty of being a half wit although some may think a half is too generous?
If you want to make a protest, stop eating his sausage rolls!! |

Why would "Downing Street" want to get involved with this and the Russell Brand allegations, when neither man has even been charged with anything?
So the suspicion has to be there is some psy-op at play here. And the answer may lie with the proposed misogyny laws, which were rejected by MPs as recently as 2022 when attempts were made to make misogyny a "hate crime", but they're evidently determined to push this through. The definition of misogynist: a man who hates women Does this apply to Wallace? But 'misogynistic' was the word apparently used by Starmer, and so that ensured a number of news headlines associating Wallace with misogyny. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c899nxwz3y3o |

you can't defend the geezer without being tarred with the same brush but leaving it 45 years to come forward and say he ruined your life by playfully tapping you on the bottom is perhaps pushing it a bit, no ?

been to few New Years Parties down the Embankment, 100,000 there
got my backside felt over 100 times, none of which ruined my life. quite the contrary .... |

Hard to imagine people even discussing this nonsense tbh…

The proper gander 'rsewipe that is The Sun attempting to do a hit piece here on Gino D'Acampo whilst offering absolutely zero evidence in this clip of any wrongdoing

Middle class women of a certain age might enjoy the irony of The Sun of all papers taking a stand against "jokingly flashing".

'inappropriate' you'll lose your job. |

Wasn't our deputy PM bragging about flashing her growler last year?

..."flashing and groping"...at female work colleagues
He ought to have been dismissed soon after a repeat of his despicable behaviour towards female work colleagues, and sent to Siberia for good; his career on tv history a long time ago. |
|
By:
a bit of flashing and groping in the workplace never hurt anyone, its all part of the banter and bonding
|
|

Stewarts i agree.sarah vine makes a very balanced case in the sunday heil. He is a smutty man but no epstein type character
|
|
By:
Smutty is the correct description for him. However, smutty could transgress to being a predator and/or even a sexual abuser. But, neither is appropriate nor suitable for tv.
Rehabilitation is necessary and helpful. |

By:
Well, let me ask you a question.
Would you leave *your* wife / daughter / sister alone with ANY man you'd never met before? |
|
By:
A yes / no answer will suffice, please.
|
|
By:
And what is this?
1st time poster 09 Dec 24 09:49 there,s only one/two ?,s to answer in these cases would you have WALLACE babysitting your kids You accusing him of being a paedo now? |
|
By:
I would be inclined to trust Wallace before a poster who poses dodgy questions about an alleged dodgy TV celeb on a Racing Forum in the middle of the night tbh, ditto his counterpart trolling ancient threads in the middle of the night!!
|
|
By:
Question to random members of the public?
Would you let a man you'd never met before babysit your kids? 1st time poster, what % are saying NO, or even f*ck off, iyo? |
|
By:
1st time poster is indeed very odd George, a bit of banter a bit of sexual innuendo and now 1TP has him labelled as a paedo. 1st time poster needs to be careful he doesn't fall from his high horse. It's usually the people who feign such mock outrage who are the ones you need to be careful of imo.
|
|
By:
Agreed stewarts, also seems as if some are so thick they think they are immune to online libel laws on here!!
|
|
By:
I think those who stand up for Mr Wallace could be tagged under "it takes one to know one or not in my backyard" category ie as long as it does not affect them, carry on Mr wallace.
|
|
By:
impossible 123, i'm not a great fan of him, but 1TPs post asking if you'd let him "babysit your kids" is taking this discussion up quite a few notches. He may not be everyones cup of tea, but going from banter and innuendo to basically calling him a Peadophile is ridiculous imo.
I don't believe any charges have been brought against him as yet and i don't think there will be, not condoning his behaviour but a lot of blokes will have done and said similar things and most women don't take huge offence to blokes acting like blokes again imo. Hear far worse in every pub/club every night Anyway i helped you with your cataract! ![]() |

He's certainly been put through the mincer, aswell as seeing his career
crumble. |

1st time poster = brain of a crustacean
|
|
By:
I never mention peado,s others were quick to,the baby sitting test is used for all sorts of unsavoury characters, and I,m sure we can all name dozens of uncharged people we wouldn't have babysitting for us or members of our families working for
|

By:
first time ever GW has had no speaking part at the Chef's Table episode...
100% they have edited him out. |

for those interested needing uncharged possible babysitters include
Philip Schofield, nick brown, Cyril Smith, prince Andrew, if not been charged is your line in the sand fill ye boots ![]() |
