Internet says

In a recent clash over health and safety regulations, Nigel Farage, who recently emerged from the jungle, has told ITV bosses to "go to hell."

The dispute arose after Farage went for a shower naked, as instructed by the show's guidelines, but was reprimanded by the network. Farage argued that washing properly required him to remove all his clothes, as advised due to the presence of leeches and other creatures. While ITV may have enjoyed the footage, Farage stood his ground and called out the contradictory instructions.

The one thing Farage knows better than most is how to generate publicity and use it for his benefit.

What should have been the main news story today is about an abuse of power at the highest level of politics, and if we had proper journalists they would be calling it out and putting pressure on Starmer to make a statement about it, but instead they show how owned they are by burying the story down the pecking order and instead act as judge and jury in destroying the reputation of a middle-aged white man before he's had the chance to defend himself in court, should it come to that.

Should it go to court, what chance does Wallace have now of a fair trial given the media coverage with Starmer chipping in, and if he's faced with twelve '1st time posters' on the jury?

I don't recall your indignation when Trump pardoned all his associates during his first term. The likes of Manafort, Bannon, Flynn, Stone, D'Souza, Kushner, etc. There is nothing MAGA loves more than hypocrisy.

Sleepy Joe was asked a direct question, would he pardon his son if convicted. He provided a direct answer; NO. He lied. What has that got to do with Trump, or maga? f all

You seem very upset that Hunter Biden has been pardoned but I don't recall you commenting when Trump pardoned all his buddies. Why would that be?

I don't believe Biden should have pardoned his son after repeatedly saying he wouldn't and I don't believe a president should have the power to pardon anyone or interfere in any way in the criminal justice system.

Are you capable of being critical of Biden without referring to Trump? Biden is accountable for his own choices, and his own lies.

Tonights episode embraces either "root to shoot" or "Nose to tail eating". How appropriate.

I'm not upset at all, they could have said he was going to prison and then let him go and live on Epstein's Island or wherever for the duration until giving him "early release" on grounds of "good behaviour".

I was comparing the media's response with this abuse of power to their coverage of a man who hasn't been charged with anything yet, as far as I'm aware.

And it's a though they're taking the piss by getting Starmer to comment on the Wallace response whilst saying nothing about the Biden pardon.

I don't know why the government feel the need to get involved in some debate about a TV presenter's lewd behaviour and I don't see why they should have anything to say about a US President pardoning his son which he is perfectly entitled to do even though I don't agree with it. Neither matter has anything to do with them.

This bloke has form. He's already been warned in the past.

Why do blokes with his looks and that of Weinstein (the former film mogul) feel so necessary to behave in a deplorable manner just because of who they are or what they do? Why does this bloke not apologise, and let whatever comes his way after?

I find most here ought to just not speak or think about him. You know what they say...cannot do the sentence do not do the crime. It's so simple!

Greg Wallace is a fool if he can't intelligently navigate the landscape to recognise an inappropriate setting for his throwback behaviour, or the consequences of acting like he's auditioning for On The Buses, rather than a working in a 21st century BBC studio full of women twitching on a hair trigger. But if he's going down, which he is, what an opportunity to draw some attention to the double standards of the camp pride mafia calling the shots in every institution in the western world, shredding their own dignity with frocks and wigs and heavy eyeliner, being offended by pronouns. They are two sides of the same coin.
Is anybody listening to my feelings when I'm trying to claw back some essence of my own marginalised identity? Wallace is probably not the best standard bearer to champion the resistance but at least he's got nothing left to lose.

I dont feel marginalised in any way....I just wish i was young again, to take advantage of all those missed opportunities...Laugh.....He shouldnt have apologised....I saw one of his accusers on the telly today....tbh, my hand would not have wandered anywhere near her rear. And thats if she tipped me the nod....I would have said, "no thanks"...

is there money involved or are they just out to ruin the geezer ?

if there's money involved every female that has come within 20 yards of Wallace since 1974 will suddenly remember he was sexually inappropriate towards them, but drop me 40k and a brand new Subaru and i reckon i can live with it ...

The irony is the beeb tried for ages to protect their newsreader star Huw Edwards, when IMO that was a far worse issue being in question, than a bit of laryness around some women.

you lot is avinalaff. i know nothing about this geezer aside from whats on here

you shower of twerps make nobodies like him slebs. hes a cook. thats it. not a scientist writer or philosopher. he is exalted for absolutely bugger all and you all know who he is and have a view on his likeliness to get a bit fruity wiv the ladies which almost certainly stems from his massively inflated sense of his own importance and level of entitlement because you wanchors have made him so by gawping at his tv shows

just look at the other crap that is referenced here; poncing about in sequins. making cakes. im a nonentity-get me on the telly.. utter sh1te

all of you can do one and fro

A bit of hard graft is the medicine needed to restore humility and respect. The media esp tv can inflate a person's ego to stratospheric level if kept unchecked.

I'm getting a strong sense of deja vu here...hit piece by the papers over the weekend, then a pile on by the tv channels on the Monday, followed by "Downing Street" chipping in?

There was a thread about it on here and I remember commenting that it seemed like a coordinated attack, but I can't remember who the person was Crazy
