Katya would have choreographed it. She's a bit mad. It doesn't bother me either. But lots of stuff on scd is inappropriate for a family audience. The old women on the panel are always gushing over the younger blokes. As is CRH.

1st time poster, have you ever thought of using the apostrophe key instead of the comma. Seems to be a bit of a habit you have.

you are also making a helleva lot of accusations....without proof...if Wallace is guilty, he deserves the sack....Its no way to behave in the workplace...and im taking about more than telling a few jokes or a change of clothes on set.

Greg may be a bit obnoxious and full of himself but as far as i know it isn't a crime, but his haters on here have him guilty already of sexual abuse.

Surely his co host would also have been aware of what he was up too, if he was up to something untoward..He seems to be guilty of being the funny man in the pub, the one mate who gets everyone laughing.

i just find it hard to believe there are no photos or videos of all this...I mean , in this age of litigation and compensation, that there is no evidence as of yet...

no one went to the gutter press with the story, these contestants/bbc staff who got touched, you go to these newspapers with the greg wallace story, you are looking at 50 to 100k imo.

stuff is being mixed up, if he is guilty of breaking his contract he'll face sanctions. if he is guilty of breaking the law, people will approach the police and they will go to the cps with any evidence. it seems that many people who don't like his manner are joining in the pile on. what I am evidencing is the double standards that are now applied in public life.

or if you are propositioned by Wallace, you go along with it, and then go the papers.

"Greg Wallace bedded me after i made him a master chef steak pie", plastered over the front page.

I'd agree that 'bawdiness' or 'lewdness' is encouraged in some respects, but frowned on in other respects.

That is for cases that are either consensual fully or not (e.g. it's just fun if a woman grabs hold of a bloke somewhere, but never vice-versa).

I think Alison Hammond once jumped on Jason Donavon without his consent on TV, and it was all put down as 'fun' by all...

Bawdiness and lewdness is still acceptable on TV from women and gays, the Brighton hairdresser on Goggle box is one example.

Only the other day Dean went all creepy over Danny when he was talking about his band having a joint bath before a gig. That's all ok tho as Dean is gay.

Gogglebox is weekly, the women and gay men are always getting flushed over good looking young men on there. It's many years since it was seen as acceptable for an old man to even say a young woman is attractive, never mind gush over them. Then you have people like creepy itv showing Farage naked, something they would never dream of doing to an older woman. And then taking the p1ss out of him. With no 'consent'. That's ok though, it's an older white guy, and someone the chattering classes love to hate, bonus.

its perfectly acceptable to tell a young lady she is a honey...infact they love it....mostly....Its just in official settings its not acceptable, the workplace, during the day etc.  It is creepy to do such a thing in the middle of the working day from nowhere imo,

as for farage, tbf, he is hedge fund elitist cnt, fair game imo..Laugh

All we can actually expect is that the same standards are applied equally, whatever an individual's immutable characteristics are. There is two tier treatment tho, something we are getting very accustomed to.

Absolute double standards Cider, they can't help showing their true allegiances on "Have i got news for you" either, love taking the pee out of Farage on there.

Starmer press mob should have told journalists to " F off, the boss has more important things to deal with than a TV chef allegedly feeling a bird's a rse 10 years ago"

Farage chose to shower naked knowing he was being constantly filmed on the show. He can't complain when they use the footage. When was the last time a woman showered naked on I'm a Celebrity? Never is the answer to that question.

Are you arguing it was appropriate viewing for a mainstream tv show?

Yes, I think it is appropriate for a show broadcast past the 9pm watershed. If a woman was showering naked you can bet your life Ant and Dec and the tabloids would have made a big deal out of it even if they didn't broadcast the footage in full. They only showed Farage's backside anyway.

IAC is one of those shows that is broadcast after the watershed but is no doubt still viewed by many people under 18. I don't think many people watch it anticipating to be looking at an old man's naked arse. It was cynically used in my view for itv to try and humiliate him. If you think they would dream of doing that to a woman, you need your bumps felt.

How was he humiliated? It was his choice to do it and I suspect it was a very calculated decision knowing it would get him plenty of airtime and publicity and would therefore boast his chances of winning the show and subsequent elections.

It was Josie who stumbled upon him showering naked and she was very complimentary about how fit he looked for his age. I don't see that he was humiliated in any way and I very much doubt he does either. It's Ant and Dec's job to make jokes about everyone.

Presenters making dodgy jokes, now there's a thing. All they do is read the script. Pretty successfully tbf, but they don't write the script.
