Old nanny, certainly wouldn't have had protests on the street and ALL the video would have been shown immed. Keeping the first half of the fight back makes me more mad the more I think about it, changing the narrative to suit their own ends.

The lawyer of the thug/scum is a dipstick who's not fit-for-purpose to vilify the police immediately after the incident created by his thug/scum client. Does this inept lawyer actually not think about the existence of cctv in a busy airport concourse?
This is England not some tinpot, lawless and corrupt country in S Asia. And, the "supporters" of this thug/scum woman-beater should be ashamed of themselves for parading their ugly faces in public and protesting outside Rochdale police station. Where were these "supporters" from the same community when their fellow countrymen were abusing vulnerable young white females in Rochdale for over 2 decades? Maybe this group of "supporters" ought to be charged with unlawful protest in a public place. What a double-standard of the highest order from this community? Maybe a behaviour of this nature is in their genetic composition. |

Aamer Anwar also said "there was no justification" for a police officer to act in this way, and adding the context was irrelevant."
What a pillock! Two of your "family" - a male was punched, and a female was punched in the face sustaining a broken nose whilst trying to execute an arrest on an abusive and violent thug/scum. And, the inept lawyer Mr Yakoob said "nothing could justify a kick to the head of a defenceless man,...and described the police as "highly-trained officers" who "should not be seeing red". How dare he? He's virtually saying take the beating 1st - it's part and parcel of the job; keep emotion aside, and exercise professional etiquette. In that charged atmosphere? No blooming way. If I was a police officer executing an arrest on an uncooperating and violent individual self-preservation and that of my colleagues will come first; professional etiquette 2nd or later. The thug/scum deserved what he started. It was his own action that put him in his present predicament. The thug/scum is just as guilty (if not more) than the copper who put his boot in (unprofessionally) when the thug/scum was lying prone. |

'michael59', with due respect a new video has emerged and shown what actually happened 30 secs prior to the incident. No doubt more video evidence will emerge later; I knew there would be cctv evidence given it happened at an Airport concourse.
I never said the copper should be thrown to the wolves (I've never used that expression); I merely said or insinuated the copper would have to be dealt with appropriately given his action. And, this was prior to the release of this new explosive video showing event 30 secs before the incident. Just take a chill pill. Or get out of the kitchen if it gets too hot! |

An Independent candidate standing in the general election has apologised after remarks he made about women were labelled “misogynistic” and “disturbing”. Akhmed Yakoob made the comments during the recording of a podcast called Minted Minds, while appearing alongside the host and four other guests. The Muslim Women’s Network has condemned the “deeply disturbing” statements and urged parliamentary candidates to commit to improving the safety of women in all communities. Mr Yakoob, who is hoping to represent Ladywood in Birmingham, has said he is "mortified" and "the tone of that discussion represents everything I stand against". However, the conversation between Mr Yakoob, Hall Green Independent candidate Shakeel Afsar, Dr Asif Munaf, Coventry-based restaurant owners Mohammed “Sunny” Sarnwal and Waqas “Vic” Mohammed veered onto the topic of masculinity and women. When Dr Munaf suggested that followers of Dajjaal – a false messiah in Islam – would be women who had been “empowered”, Mr Yakoob responded with: “70% of hell is going to be women”. While discussing their perceptions of gender roles, the criminal law solicitor said: “I’ve got nothing against women, I love women, I love my wife. "But everyone has got a role in society, everyone has got a role in the household. In my household, I’m the man, I’m the king. I call the shots, and my Mrs, Alhamdulillah, listens to me and is appreciative. |

Vote for Mr Yakoob at your peril. I sincerely hope the Labour Party will never entertain his candidacy. Mr Yakoob is not fit for public office with a misogynistic and disturbing views.

The thug/scum who delivered the ferocious punches to the female officer threw punches like a trained boxer. Let's hope the thug/scum will not be able to throw such punches to anyone esp a female for a very long while post a custodial sentence for the part he played in the incident.
Mr Yakoob has been dismissed by the family of the thug/scum as their lawyer. I'm glad the family can see Mr Yakoob is toxic, self-obsessed and misogynistic. |

The family of the thug/scum kicked by the police officer have said they are concerned for any injured officers. And, a source representing the family said: "If anyone broke the law they must face due process." |
