My experience would be that when something wants paying for in Spain, they are British. When something want's paying for in Britain, they are Spanish.
Like I said, I look forward to seeing thousands of old orange people with mobility scooters in the doctors waiting room, when you people get your way and everybody has to live their entire lives within 30 miles of where they were born. the world will be a much better place. |

def wasn't saying it was good for us but Spain aren't complaining.
an unskilled muslim turns up here, he cooks you a curry or drives you in a cab, pays a pittance in tax and will soon have wives, kids and grandparents, not sure his tax covers all that. If I'm wrong I'm all ears. |

Yes, that's a very accurate description of everybody that comes here.
![]() Maybe the discussion could be broadened out and we could assess what kind of immigration would be beneficial - for a country with a massive shortage of skills and an ever ageing population - but the vast majority on your side of this discussion, just want nobody "foreign" to come here. I'd start by zero-ing tuition fees for British students that want to learn skills we need and have a shortage of. Probably balancing that out by increasing them for people that just want 3 years on the p1ss at tax-payers expense. Some of them might also then do something to learn skills/trades that the country requires. |

There are solutions but it needs strong government which we don't have. Putting aside the breakdown of society and community, if mass immigration worked then GDP per capita would have gone up, it's gone down. And it will only get worse.

Most are too proud to learn the old fashioned skills like tradesmen, mechanics etc they think it’s beneath them…
I would welcome any foreign tradesmen/ women….probably work most into the ground…..I know many who have come and made a good life.. The fight is against the undocumented….one word they all seem to know…..London ! |

We could always process some of them. That might be a good alternative to prohibiting them from working or earning any money and forcing them to live in hotels for years. Just an idea.

You need to get your act together Cardinal Scott - this is not the time or the place for balance or common sense - you need to get with the programme and adopt some extreme views - you can choose whichever side you prefer but just make sure it is full-on extreme.

You people f4rting about looking for pragmatic solutions - you make me sick! If everybody was like you, who would be left to get angry, moan about how things aren't what they used to be and shout out catchy three-word-slogans. ffs get a grip man.

My favourite office bore (back in the day) that invited himself to the pub with the gang after work; you always set off for the bar when he got on his high horse sharing his views about Muslims and Islam.
By the time you got back with his pint (he never bought a round), he was busy explaining why homosexuality should be illegal and why we should chop the hands off shoplifters. |

Did the office bore have a username on here by any chance?

Aye, as demented as calling anyone who doesn't want immigration far right and racist. Management on tilt again |

He was known to his colleagues as "lightening" - not because he was quick but he had a real-life name quite similar to Kim Betts who was Lightening on Gladiators!

Of course.....anyone who recognises the disprroportionate amount of crime being committed by certain sections of our community are quite obviously RACIST... JESUS WEPT, the race card still being played at every single opportunity, no wonder we are up the swanny without a paddle.

What are you saying Basil - we are up the swanny without a paddle due to people in the English Channel with two paddles?
Stop the boats! - and if any of them do make it across, don't process them for 2 years! |

We don't know who the hell they are, just process them in 5 minutes, that'll stop 'em coming.
