|
|
By:
maybe this lads culture was, ADAM TATE,LOZZA, PETERSON ETC ?

Lots of Ex Squaddies are trouble. My daughter use to live in Colchester, lots of fights at night involving Squaddies,
the red caps use to go around the pubs trying to keep them in check |

The older brother of fugitive suspect Kyle Clifford is already in prison for murder, it can be revealed. Think that latest news adds another dimension to these shocking murders, the older brother is also a murderer. Sickening, and yes he would have been on a list as dangerous if I compiled it.
|
|
By:
Looks like they have shot him in the cemetery, gloves and dressings from the pics I've seen.
|
|
By:
Good, shame they didnt shoot his older murderer brother too, its in their mindset, these people are extremely dangerous.

Nice man mr hunt just gobsmacked, life can be so unfair and seemingly a ex boyfriend, a lot of have been there with ex boyfriends but this is a shocking level

Good to hear they found the beast alive now it can face court and hopefully rot in the can.
Worst outcome would have been the result like the Tyneside rodent… |

This terrible news to hear. Thoughts and prayers with you John. I`m lost for words. Very very sad.

Hope is suffering a large portion of the pain his victims did, at least he hasn't got out easily....

Just when you think you can't be shocked any more by anything...
Reading Peter Hitchens these last few years, he's highlighted how frequently in these shocking cases drugs are involved, and sometimes drugs that some people want legalised like marijuana. But because there is a powerful drugs lobby in this country, it's not always highlighted in the reporting of these cases, rather the murderer might be said to have some mental health condition, whether it's drug-induced or not. Who knows if this horrific act was drug-fuelled, but no doubt Hitchens will be digging to find out, even if the mainstream press in general aren't too keen on highlighting it, should it be the case. |

hitchens is spot on on this topic

The whole situation is so very sad. Thoughts with John.
To some posters on here - the problem with the death penalty is that mistakes are irretrievable (try asking Timothy Evans amongst others) everyone is entitled to a defence and the people on here bleating on here about so called "lefty lawyers" are either unaware of that and, presumably, also unaware that the cab rank rule applies. By defending someone in court a lawyer is not aligning themselves to the accused or any cause they espouse. And no, I'm not a lawyer. |

Terrible news, thinking of John and his family.

when evidence is overwhelming and 99% certain of the perpetator, then hanging shoud occur, re sutcliffe, west, huntley, brady etc, and again in this case,
|
|
By:
What about psychotropic "drugs" routinely handed out like smarties?
A side effect can be feelings of suicide, which can manifest itself in anger or harm towards others ![]() Ex- military people feeling like they've been kicked into the kurb having witnessed all colours of sheeite having been filled up with all sorts of jabs to serve abroad etc. Steroids have made men very angry - young men in general seem very angry nowadays- ffs even older people are aggressive and angrier, less laid-back than yesteryear. People are desensitised to violence, have access to weaponry like never before. Influential role models are absent to many and are left to run ferral with authorities unable to control them. ...and a multitude of other factore that make society more base than ever. ![]() |

By:
So, elisjohn, on your figures you're content that 1 in a 100 convictions with "overwhelming" evidence can result in a wrongful conviction and subsequent hanging?
Really? |

no, im trying to say , ok 100% then when its certain like the lee rigby two , etc, but in this scenario i wouldnt hang lucy letby, never know there is some doubt according to loads inc other experts .

Even where, at the time, guilt seems certain errors have occurred

in cases like these, domestic etc ,i,d imagine drugs/steriods used in the gym would be more likely than coke, skunk, spice crack, etc,
apparently they were all still breathing when found to most of us certainly me i wouldnt no where to fire a crossbow bolt to have the best chance of a fatal shot, skull, eye, face, neck, chest, maybe the millitary training taught him |
|
By:
Mr Pike- With DNA, fingerprints, CCTV, doorbell cameras, mistakes are incredibly unlikely. On the news the police say no shots were fired. Unlike the US police who would have done the right thing straight off.
|
|
By:
Mr Slicer. In your own words you are accepting mistakes ARE possible. If you support the death penalty you are, de facto, accepting that the state will on occasion execute innocent people. I'm not.

The can is the best way it lets the scum suffer every minute of the day and night…..
It will never see the light of day again…. Only poor outcome when it goes into the can it won’t be bedded on straw… The rope is too quick for all rodents imv… |

we,d have to execute LETBY for example, some think she,s nailed on guilty others a scapegoat

Just had a quick look at his brother's case to see if any substances were involved. A police officer testified at the trial:
PC Matt Clarke spoke to Clifford after the crash, saying the Mustang driver seemed drunk and smelled of alcohol. Yet despite this: He was not given a breathalyser test at any point, the court heard https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5651797/Man-accused-murdering-moped-rider-says-smelt-alcohol-friend-spilled-wine-him.html So he wasn't tested for any substance, so who knows what he might have had in his system, if anything, at just after 3 am when the murder took place. |

A soldiers training would have taught him the method. If you are at all interested, the neck has 3 major vessels on each side: the carotid artery, the jugular vein & the phrenic nerve. That's why the marines creep up behind you & cut your neck side to side with thin wire. Instant death. Also any anatomy student knows that a blow on the nose in an upward direction from the front at the correct angle with sufficient force has a good chance of driving the nasal & associated bones into the brain. Please don't try this at home.

The trouble is, in the UK the vermin don'get a REAL life sentence ie will die in prison. In the US, they used to have the right idea. Sentences of 999 years. If they were lucky & behaved, they might get a third of the sentence off for good behaviour!

The trouble is whether this piece of scum is shot, shoots himself,or rots in prison the damage is already done, and nothing can bring John's family back. RIP

Got to be an ultimate deterrent as far as I'm concerned. The sheer horror of the crime reported permits nothing else.
