Spyker, It's not about scoring political points. Its about living in an open, law abiding society where people are allowed to say and do what they like as long as it causes no harm to others. Where people can feel safe in their own homes and are not living in fear of some nutter with crossbow roaming the area. Where the police have the resources to do their jobs properly, without having to doff the cap to some fashionable cause. We want to live in a decent society, where "society" is the key word. We want to be safe and feel safe.

Deterrents don't work. Rehabilitation does not work. The only thing that works is the removal of this type of vermin from the face of the earth so there is 100% probability that they can't do it again. BUT we live in a moral cesspit, a degenerate liberal democracy where murders like this don't even get on the front pages of newspapers, if indeed at all, but whether a man can have a cervix or a woman have a penis does. Civilisation is irreversibly going down the tubes; being flushed down by those in power! It is HEARTBREAKING. What a tragedy. It is unimaginable how John Hunt must have felt if he indeed did make the discovery. There'll be flowers & teddy bears & hymn singing when instead we need the hangman's noose!

Mr Poster- looking at some of your posts, we'll never agree on anything. Usually, in the "old" days the gangsters & monsters killed their own. Mostly the public were collateral damage. Even in the days of the Krays, it was boasted that little old grannies could walk down the street at night. I can tell you that when I'm at my London home, I hardly EVER go out at night & when I do I carry a specially designed walking stick & wear a body camera. But as I said, we'll never agree on anything. But at least I hope you won't descend into insults like some ave on other threads. I make a point of not insulting anyone on here & never have. Mr Brush-Thanks for your support. I believe the death penalty should be applied to all who murder regardless of race, colour, religion or creed. The USA proves the death penalty is not a deterrent but it does clean out the filth from society.
