I'm just dealing with facts here, after the first strike he had five left for most of the final furlong. He chose not to use a second strike until it was too late.
Some jockeys in that situation eg Morris, SDS, they're not losing because they opted not to administer another 3 or 4 perfectly legal strikes. |

2 hands on the reins pushing the horse out is fine imo
especially if they unbalance horses while smacking them which morris does and its in the figures that this^^^^^^^ isn't effective |
