He atoned there on Maries Rock. It could have gone either way. I think both times Bowen asked for a "jump" from Maries Rock

jockeys cant win with pocket talkers..steady a horse coming to last and critisised..ask for a big one and falls critisised.

Proving the point that it's a debate with no conclusive outcome , a jockey is only as good as their last ride especially on a betting forum.

You can please some of the people some of the time etc.....

Never had an play in any of the races,my opinion was Mark Walsh would have won on the horse

Doncaster winner was just a professional nh riders ride we see them every day….

Most are born into the game

never ever seen the point of making a hypothetical statement..absolutely and utterly pointless.

Did placepot backers (those who went against him) a huge favour there, just like at Plumpton last week. A clear third and minimum effort down the straight,  gets chinned by a 150/1 poke

I knew it would happen as soon as the horse blew up and collapsed as a challenger, clearly with something wrong.
Bowen would get the blame.

Does a siren go off in your head when I post? Ffs give it a rest will you. Have a look at the Plumpton race last week and see did that 'blow up' as well. Ps, if there was 'something wrong ' why didn't he pull it up? BTW I haven't said one bad word about that jockey this weekend when plenty have. Go have a go at them.

James Bowen is a capable rider…but there’s a difference….
