He's done extremely well. He reminds me of Becker when he 1st came onto the tennis screen. Will kebab boy win? I hope he does. And, sponsorship from kebab shops could magnify his earnings for 2024.

The kid's got the arrogance down ("It's going to take a lot to stop me," he said).
By:
He has. When he left the 170 and hit two treble twenties, he turned round to the crowd to see if he should go for the bull. I’m still not sure if that was arrogance, confidence or immaturity.

Wonder why Littler has drifted just recently - people laying off from big prices? Not enough to drift this much surely?
By:
Possibly because of Humphries performance last night? Littler is 4/6 to beat Cross, at best he’d be a coin flip against Humphries, odds on against Williams.
By:
It should be another step up in the final if he beats Cross. And the longer format could take its toll. Its a big ask for a 16yr old to stay focussed after the journey he's been on and what he's got left to deal with. Mind blowing in fact!
If he passes the test, will be remarkable ![]() |
By:
Yeh fair points - maybe the market was getting bit giddy at the shorter prices in any case.
By:
why would it be a bigger toll for a 16 yr old rather than a 4/5 stone overweight, sweating 50 yr old like taylor,or jockey wilson etc etc ,if anything it must be an advantage

By:
Darts is at least as much psychological as physical.

jockey wilson could hardly stand up belly full of barcadi before gagging up,

Hasn't met a top player in their best form yet. Likely to in the final.
By:
If he beats Humphries tonight the rest of them might as well pack it in.

By:
that 16yo with the blue diamond badge on his sleeve looks to have had a hard life!

whats yer verdicts guys can luke the nuke win the final ...................yay or nay ........oh an i know its a horse racing forum but we have an afternoon scratching our arshes and fook all to do.
By:
No bet for me at the prices - the more experienced player who is in great form slightly shorter, about right price.
By:
Certainly getting a lot of coverage.
I just find it surprising it hasn't happened before. Why shouldn't someone who is 16 be better at darts than someone older? It's not as if it's a physical game. |

How much does the winner get?
Gets reported its £500k ![]() |
By:
It is, ISL.
Most blokes have never picked up a dart before they could get into a pub. He was throwing them as a toddler. Possibly thrown more darts than some pros in their early twenties. |

Luke Littler breaks darts record as semi-final win most-watched Sky match in history...
The chairman of the Professional Darts Corporation Eddie Hearn revealed just hours ahead of the final that Littler's win over Cross had set a new viewership record. And he issued a rallying cry for fans to overtake that mark again for the final. Hearn tweeted: "The record viewership for darts was 1.65m for Taylor v Anderson in 2015. Last night Littler v Cross smashed the record with 2.32m audience! Bigger than the Ashes, bigger than the Ryder Cup let’s break 3m tonight for the final." Personally not watched him play as yet but will watch the final ![]() |
