He’s a once in a generation talent. He’s sixteen years old and seems more phased by his social media going through the roof rather than performing on the biggest stage. Every media outlet wants a piece of him because he’s big news. He could quite easily win the tournament.
The darts forum is dead, no harm having a thread about him on here imo. We have plenty of non racing threads, at least this is gambling related. The kid was about 100/1 pre tournament, he’s 7/2 now. |

complete guess but i cant imagine much betting getting done on the darts, as he was one to watch future champ etc,surprised you could get 100 to 1,even a few tenners from all his friends and family would surely see a price collapse these day,s

Future being the operative word. I don’t think many people expected him to go this far. A win or even two would’ve been a huge achievement. He was 10/1 after his first round win. The layers were taking no chances.
I watch most of the darts that are on TV but I’d never heard of him until recently. To most he’d be a complete unknown. |

we know this is a horse racing forum but the darts /golf and most sports forums are dead the politics forum is clique and perhaps if more input on these sports was encouraged a few would have got to know about this kid and others and a few might have risked a tenner or score at the big prices ,i only know the big names in darts but do enjoy watching it ,the darts crowd create a fantastic atmosphere and it adds greatly to the excitement.

obviously reality tv shows are always fixed somehow ,what the fook was going on in masked singer last night everyone was certain it was dionne warwick so why would they vote a singing legend out on 1st show,can only assume she couldnt find the time to film a whole series but that would mean the panel would have to have been told and told to vote her out ? so it could all be a gone and they no identity of every singer ? |

he had a massive chance anyway, he's been playing the best darts of anyone since the 1st round. mvg has mental issues atm, stormed out of an interview the other day and having terrible issues with his teeth. got beat at 14's on last night. |

That MVG performance was very odd - thrashed his other opponents, including higher ranked than this guy he just lost to. Bizarre.
