Blimey, I do hope they don't restrict/close my account, along with Skybet and Betfair they are essential to me.

An algorithm monitoring accounts for problematic activity is responsible. Assuming it is at fault! The algorithm is looking for breaching T&C's, multiple accounts, excessive betting (large) amounts and arbitrage (huge variation in bet size). I doubt it has anything to do with winning or taking advantage of promotions.

Should be good news for the exchange with all these accounts being closed but I won't hold my breath.

Same here although basically shut down over a year ago. Storm Alert, not just those accounts you quote,I was very careful not to put a foot wrong as I actually enjoyed having a bet with them because it was so easy and no restrictions although I kept my stakes pretty small apart from festivals and chucked the odd football bet in but had a bit of a run with them and they probably thought they're not getting it back so kaput, never withdrew a penny either. I bet quite a bit less without the account.

I don't understand why anyone would be bothered about which bookmaker they lost money to. Just come on here and give yourselves a chance.

Same here yesterday. Email to close account. Won't have had a bet with them in over 12 months but used the website every day with less than £1 in it. Handy for video form. Any other video guide as good ? I doubt it.

@howard at least in your case I can see exactly why they would close your account - it's all cost and no revenue to them?
By:

yeah true but I did get in touch with live chat and was willing to deposit some money to keep it open ( even though heavily restricted ) Very interesting to see that punters having modest bets have been closed down. As I said to them I thought the problem these days was betting too much. This mass cull needs to be brought to the attention of the media.

Don't get mad, get even. Submit a detailed and specific Data Subject Access Request (google "DSAR".

It will take you about half an hour to complete the request - if you make it detailed and specific, it will take them 100's of man-hours to comply with the law and respond.

Detailed and specific equals = all the information they hold on you - request that they supply your data both digitally and a hard-copy (paper), ask for copies of every bet you have ever had, your p&l, a list of all deposits and withdrawals, a list of all cards ever registered, all your personal details that they hold, a copy of EVERY e-mail and promotion you have ever been sent either via e-mail text or any other medium, a list of the ones you participated in, details of any "cash out" bets, a list of anybody/other companies/affiliates with whom they have shared your data, all notes on your account, copies and the transcripts from any complaints or queries, webchats, etc, etc.

They have a legal obligation to provide all of this within a timeline that is completely unmanagable!

If everybody that had their account restricted or closed did this, they would either need to reconsider their strategy or they would have to employ a small army of people to comply with the law.

After you have done this once, remember to save the template, for the next bunch of parasitic scum that think it's ok to only do business with degenerates that are addicted to slots and casino games.

We need knew rules. disassociate gaming from gambling, 2 different licences 2 different shops (not in 365 case)
and 2 completely different websites.
and you cannot have a gaming licence unless you have a betting licence if you want to take bets in the UK and all firms should have a minimum
win applied. ie £500 after 11am. no discrimination of punters.
That would be my idea

Lady Carla & Sparrow must think you can't use the exchanges AND bookmaker accounts?  Had some of best my wins by using Bet365 and putting 2 selections in doubles that I felt were massively overpriced. The liquidity simply wasn't there at the same prices on here and by the time the markets sorted themselves out I couldn't get anyway near the same prices to make a homemade double.

Every punter has his own way of doing things. You might want to consider this next time you post on such a subject, it would save you from embarrassing yourselves.

Totally agree with Whippin , depending on your strategies and providing you're not a one-dimensional punter , you need BOTH.

Good luck today all   Happy

Put 2 of GeorgeB's selections in a double one evening because he made such a great case for them I had to play. Both ran at Kempton, both were huge prices. Following on from one of my own successful doubles a few weeks earlier, that was the last Bet365 account I had......

As with Whippin just to add another example..

Played a bad e/way 5 horse acca , all place books were over broke , each race had an odds on fav , all horses went above the planned goal by actually winning , acca paid £62k.

Max bet £0.11 the following morning but with a syndicate the accounts are pretty much endless.

So you're telling me you always beat the exchange prices by betting early?  And have you still got this winning account at the risk of embarrassing myself?

It's not necessarily about beating the price sparrow it's more to do with how many dimensions you have to your gambling and how to exploit the opportunities you can find for yourself.

If you're win singles player then the exchange is the place for you , as it would be for me , and is when i choose that bet type.

Not ALWAYS. Did I say always? Read Hayden's post. You could hit them for a 1 or 2 good scores before your account is finished.

I haven't had an e-mail yet but have been restricted for a few months but have been concerned for a while what funny games they will try with me as I had a free tenner bet credit pre season(before becoming restricted) and stuck it on a treble for Leicester, Portsmouth and Stockport for their respective leagues at 4/1, 9/1 and 11/2.

I agree hayden as I don't play doubles and haven't for many years now. Unfortunately whippin thinks that is clueless and he is clearly a big winner himself with his accounts.

I’ve still got my 365 account! What a mug!

They are the only ‘big’ firm I can still bet with. Been closed down by all the others and none of them were in profit.

only you know why they've looked at your account and decided you're worth keeping.

think the rest of us can hazard a guess ...
