Often coverage of field events is delayed
|

By:

Live results on WC website.
Although I suspect it was live on Eurosport. Coverage of field events is better on there |

as i tell everyone, result is irrelevant if beating price. denise knows if you're betting 5/4 shots at 4/1 you will ultimately shaft her long-term. even if the first few lose. so it's goodbye. |

Rojas has been annoying fukker for a good few years now.

Kerry Dixon comes on at ht at Chelsea. Used to come in my shop regualrly. Back in those days you could bet to win £1000-£2,000 on athletics no problem. 36 years later H/lls to win limit is £200

i went in a hills shop about 20yr ago to have 7k readies on a black 800m fav at 2/7.

By:
£2,000 in 1987 is £5,440 in today's money so effectively their limit gone from £5,440 to £200. A drop of 96.3%

Hills have become complete **** since Ceasars took them over Rico

By:
they are all parasites in fairness..coatsey won a billion from addicts.

By:
Talking of Hills , had £10k on Hewitt to beat Tommy Haas at 8/15 in the Miami masters in 2000 , took only about 40 sec to place bet.

nelsons in a shop?

Easy in those days they'd take virtually anything , only just over £5k liability which seemed nothing then as Clydebank says.
Plenty of £250 e/way horse bets at prices above 20/1 as well as long as they weren't bad e/way bets , can't quite believe the change. |

didn't have a guaranteed income stream from fobt's et al in 1987 so probably standing at the door asking you to come in and gamble. now they have that, they don't need mainstream gamblers any more. of course, what they pedal now is massively addictive, resulting in people losing fortunes and everyone getting blighted as a problem gambler. affordability check to get a tenner on a horse cos they successfully got someone addicted to Forge of Fortunes and he blew his life savings. As if that wasn't exactly what they set out to do
Coates is on a million a day, not from horses. |

womens 800m,anyone watched the semi's?
Hodgy was impressive, she has a big chance, the other semi,Moraa made the running but Mu who was on her shoulder with a lap to run was impeded by a runner behing her and nearly fell..lost about 6yds..made it up gradually to be beaten a yd by Moraa, neither were flat out..looks to be only 3 runners but im tempted to lay Moraa at 4/1 as cant see her winning. |
|
By:
Same here Rico very very doubtful that Moraa wins.
