Somewhere in the distance
Hidden from view
Suspended in the atmosphere
Waiting to come through
Sometimes it's so far away
Sometimes it's very near
sound being carried by the wind
Just loud enough to hear
feel its power within me
Bells ringing in my head
So often I have heard its cry
But forgotten what it said
It's a mystery, it's a mystery
I'm still searching for a clue
It's a mystery to me

At the moment i'm with the specialist dredger who's also a forensic brain in that she won't be found in the river , he's 100% if she's not found in there she's never been in there , police should never have indicated she'd fallen in without a hell of a lot more evidence to back up that statement.

seems strange they havent found her if she is in the water ,not familiar with that river but many have undercut banks where it could be 5 or 6ft undercut into the bank she could have possibly got tangled up and swept or drifted into the undercuts  but the search teams would be aware of that and would have searched there ,yes as toyah  says" its a mithtewy "

i was 101 she was in the water..looks to be 1000 now.

if she didn't fall into the river, what happened? the investigation has been totally focused on the river and not much else

Seen all the tv interviews with boyfriend. No message to wife , no tears (bit of laughter) no mention of wives name /missing her/loves her etc. If I had to guess insurance job.

I must admit I’ve got no idea. The initial statement saying they thought she’d fell into the river and was weighed down by two coats, wellies etc sounded very plausible to me. As Rico says the depth of the water at the bank seems to be in doubt. 15ft and she falls in fully clothed she wouldn’t have much time before she started sinking. Panic would set in and she'd be under.

All very odd, the underwater search expert seems to think there isn't a body in the water. He said last night it’s not tidal and flows down to a weir then over a shallow gravel bank so no way a body would be washed away. Why the police came up with that nonsense is a mystery.

Some have said the police have kept the river story going for ages while they look deep into the couple and their finances and study the boyfriend's behaviour.

The partner is always the prime suspect when a women goes missing or is killed.
I’ve only read bits in the paper but it sounds like two out of the three(?) entrances/exits are captured on CCTV. Surely the partner has alibied himself to the satisfaction of the police?

3ft deep why the fook would you need sonar gear, you could do finger tip search on your knees with a 50 officers in an hr,
expert also said 3ft deep with large rocks in/around water  she could have landed on,
police said 4 metres deep last week said to wife at time thats fooking deep for a river that size/wide

When it's been mentioned the boyfriend is covered by home CCTV with a clock some have said it's possible to change the timing record on these  home systems.  I'm no tech whizz so maybe someone here can say.  But it's looking more likely she's in hiding to me.

Just another Pysop. It's fair to conclude that the police were so oddly sure she was in the river because they knew she was not in the river. Family and friends comments have looked odd which also makes sense if they (or some of them) knew she was never was in the river. Bread and circuses 101.

To my knowledge they haven't searched the caravans or the fishing lake on the same side of river. Police probably thought no crime & Barstool was right.

For no reason other than 'intuition', i think she's alive, either with a lover, or she's simply 'run away'.

I hope i'm right for the sake of loved ones.

Weird how they never at any stage roped off the area she went missing, completely fecked up any forensic evidence that may have been there, its been like a tourist spot.

Dog sees his owner in distress but doesn't go in, no barking heard, no signs of dog sniffing around or pawing at the water's edge, no screaming heard from someone fighting for their life???

More chance of finding Madeline Mccann in there than the woman.

That she ran off with another bloke? Far easier ways of doing that. I can’t imagine many dog owners abandoning their dog at the side of the river voluntarily.

People disappear every other week but like the McCann investigation it went headline news from the first day.
It's really odd that the police made that statement about the liklihood of her being in the water so soon, especially with what has been said since,
There was little or no protection of the scene, from day one it looked like the public had free access to the whole area.
The whole phone and dog not going wet seems odd as well.
The reporting has been all over the place as was said earlier.
Hopefully the truth will come to light, personally I haven't a clue.

I hadn’t realised you meant for an insurance payout, Howard. I’d guess an insurance payout for a missing person could take years though.

dealer agree with what you say but I suppose a bloke going missing on Teesside doesn't sell papers. The whole mix , nice looking woman young kids nice area her regular dog  walk but in a dangerous/lonely location. All makes a good story.

Yeah probably right Howard, there was an 11 year old girl from Galashiels missing over the last week, police made statement they were really concerned, she was found safe, guy in custody,  hardly a word on the news. Can't highlight them all, I suppose in this case they have it right, it's been a media frenzy backed up by the public interest

Have the holiday  caravans on the site  been checked out?

First thing I thought of, when I read the article with the map, was the two sites. Both situated within the ten minute window the police can't account for. Transient communities, single males (one is a fishing lodge/park) and empty buildings at this time of year.

Anybody who's read about Stephen Port, or Leah Betts, wouldn't be confident in the police being capable of carrying out a meticulous search of anything.

cant see anyone abducting her by force i e dragging her away she would be kicking and screaming but what if someone appoached her on the bench and asked for asssistance saying a  child in distress  or similar scenario but then she would take her phone with her phone wimmin and phone like an extra limb she would not leave it .
