They won't let their River theory go. Totally dismissing logic and a guy who's been doing River searchers for 20+ years. Bizarre!

Am I right in saying that the specialist team haven't searched any other part of the river apart from the immediate stretch from where she is supposed to have gone in at.

the police really f this one up, should have been sealed off straight away a crime scene, then you could see footprints did she go towards the river but every man and his dog trodden over it now, they got told not in the river first week by the expert but keep clutching at straws, they want investigating, its poor at its worst imo

Icy frozen banks would not help if this is the case? could be she went too somebody's aid? it could be a dog owner who has rage because of loose dog? but all point to body in river whether accident likely or murder, Morecambe tides are furious and extremely

The weather was frost free and the river level was slightly above summer levels on the day she went missing. The Police are clutching at straws.

0.39 depth today, below normal for time of year. Does seem strange how a body hasn't been found in that depth with a slow flow to boot.

It's either suicide in another location OR  alive and likely insurance job imo. Don't think there has been any forced abduction.

All race meetings on and no inspections on the day including at Donny. It was a frost free day, John. River levels were at the same as they are today and have been around the same since she went missing. Absolutely no chance she fell in and carried off down the River. Lots of shallow areas and it was only 3 foot where theysay she fell in. The Police are hiding something or are totally incompetent.

Would be interested if police choppers were available at that time or how soon they trailed the river from the chopper, that is important only 2-3 miles from coast she must have banged head on slipping on something hard a post or maybe just an hard bank surface. I would want to re-question dog walkers and if they have history of violence or mental problems but the police should by now have done these things.

The police will know more than they are letting on. Very strange them going down the... fell in the river route so early on and sticking to it.
I think a lot of the dinghy people have been shipped up north ......imagine the uproar if one or more of them turned out to be responsible. As someone said earlier, the phone found on the bench could be a decoy, i.e wasn't left there by Nicola....just a thought. Wouldn't be the first time the police have covered up a crime/crimes.....Rotherham for one springs to mind.

I'll match Rico on that price! Also the Dog would have been in the river like a Rat up a drainpipe if she'd fell in or went in of her own accord.

another dogwalker or dog stealer perhaps something made her run her dog in trouble or another owner or dog kidnapper? we can only speculate with logic

How can the phone on the bench be a " decoy " ? She was said to be in the middle of a conference call, if anything my guess is the phone will prove vital.in finding the truth.

its a very short price surely the dog wouldnt have followed whether she fell in,walked away from area or was carried? as peter faulding said..its very slow moving where she was
assumed to have went in..her body would still be close as he's found in most of these scenarios.

imo

she was only listening..muted and no video (or thats whats been reported) but the female in charge also said the river is fast flowing..even ray charles disputes this.
