If Auguste was a 100/1 outsider wouldnt have been Kens paddock pick.

Has he ever said "The favourite doesn't look the business today but there's a 10/1 shot that looks fully toned up?"

Unlucky ken picked 2 out the top 3 in the betting, Nashwa hardly had a bead of sweat on it that i saw, warm under the saddle about it.
By:
In all honesty he talks bowlocks, no need to ask him anything at all, in fact he should not be involved with ant tv channel
By:
You just need to walk around the parade ring looking as though you should be there, easy money.

take him off the tv

A few years ago, Ken was difficult to listen to because of his stammer. He seems to have sorted this out completely. So I say well done Ken.
But his paddock selections seem to perform worse than random, which is quite an achievement. If I could get statistical confirmation of this, I would be confident in laying all his selections. It may just be that he knows his stuff, but when under pressure to report his observations on live TV, he bottles it and goes for obvious form picks and favourites. |

We all know why he got the job

Blind squirrel would do better feckin useless.

Likes Vandeek/River Tiber/Task Force in that order.
Pure coincidence 1/2/3 in betting. |
By:
Our Ken certainly has a sharp eye!
By:
he got the tricast there
By:
So he nailed the trifecta for me with Van Deek to win and RT/Task Force 2nd or 3rd for £28.40. And said Elite Status looked poor and it finished 2nd last landing the A V B bets with Give me the beat boys :D
Good work KP. |

Does he still do a week at the races like the great Gerald Delamere use to in The Weekender.?
By:
Best paddock judge there is. His job is to judge appearance not tip winners. Been doing the gig for over 20 years on Radio, so there goes the conspiracy theory.
