were there 2 horses on ground one horse and jock are 50yds behind flags 200 yds behind hurdle,was there another one on the ground,or were groundstaff trying to protect themselves and there was no stricken horse ,jockey on ground

Checkered flag means avoid a fence.
There was no fence immediately after the flags. Can you really blame the jockeys for getting it wrong? Then again same happened at Sedgefield when the wrong flag was raised and jockeys took the blame. |

Rules followed and Correct , but IMO fontwell have made a complete horlicks of it , using rules to cover their incompetence , as stated lucky no crowd present may have been a riot .
