Are things so desperate that the UK is the sole source of a conspiracy? 2016 Trump claimed a fix.........until he won......2020 he tells the world "Ask the media, they know it is a fix" when he lost?
I just hope most of you do not actually bet!!!! |

They do say there is no smoke without fire , now i wonder why the PA Pennsylvania department of state suddenly decided to take down the election figures that showed they sent out 1.823.848 postal ballots but have so far received 2.589.242 back , i wonder how they will explain that 765394 vote difference
By:
Does "no smoke without fire" also apply to the dozens of rape/sexual assault allegations against Trump since the 1970s?

1.07 now??

A judge in Pennsylvania has ordered the state to stop certifying its results (a bit late because they've already been certified) pending a full hearing on Friday. The state has appealed to the state supreme court.
Pennsylvania has 20 ECVs. Even if they flip to Trump, Biden wins the White House. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-25/pennsylvania-judge-blocks-further-election-certification-steps |

Lawsuits flying!
Copy/Paste: https://twitter.com/LLinWood/status/1331753058024517634 In Georgia at least and more in other states. carrot was right... |

It’s not a good sign when the Governor is crying like a baby about it.
Technically Trump doesn’t need to ‘flip’ states. Just needs to prevent enough states from being able to certify so Biden doesn’t have 270 on Dec 14th. Kind of a wake up a call for a few...rushing to certify doesn’t get you out of dodge. If Penn gets stopped then good lord...this market might end up beating the Avengers Endgame box office record lol - Was kinda of hoping for them to do this in Michigan so I could see Supreme Empress Gretchen’s meltdown lol Actually like her...if you’re going to play the evil dictator role then play and she’s brilliant at it lol |

The Mich. Legislature are holding hearings into voter fraud.
Remember: They have the final say over who is appointed as Electors .. |

trump % >61 into 30/1. jaysus.
not sure if you clowns have done the maths, but assuming trump keeps his 74m biden will have to lose 35m. unless of course Jorgensen also cheated in which case we'll have to take about 33m off biden. this really is like betting against peasants of 10th century England about whether the earth is flat |
By:
By the way...very off tangent but can anyone explain why you need votes on a flash drive?
A bit new for me but I thought you’d vote and it gets uploaded automatically...why does it go on a flash drive that you then have to upload? Kind of weird when you can easily you know...place it in the old ‘prison safe’ For the right price I doubt you’d bother with Vaseline too. |

I have money tied up in this ongoing farce. Amazing to see market is back out to 1.07. Apologies if it has been answered earlier in the thead but looking at the next president rules what does the following actually mean:
If any candidate withdraws for any reason, including death, all bets on the market will stand and be settled as per the defined rules (Updated - 20/06/2020) Does it mean if Biden dropped dead before the 14th December Electoral College vote, bets on him are lost? But once that has happened the market will be settled or does he have to stay alive until inauguration on the 20th Jan 2021? |
By:
The natural meaning is that Biden wins even if he had died the day after the election, and probably some days before that given that ballot papers had already been printed.
But since Betfair rarely seems to understand its own rules in political market, it is quite possible Theresa May will be the official winner. |
By:
To be on the safe side, you could back Democrats at the same price as Biden.

The thick plottens!
![]() |
By:
There's value on Trump. Why? Because all it takes is proving fraud beyond a shadow of doubt in one state. Then the other states will flip like dominoes. When the Dems say that fraud is impossible and yet the court rules that it happened, they're done.
By:
^^^the problem with that is that the market might never pay out:
If any doubt exists as to the outcome of the election, then this market will be settled on the official public announcement of the election result from the Federal Election Commission. The FEC will never make a statement, they only deal with election funding, and in any case are unable to make any decision being hobbled by trump. So as there will certainly in a philosophical sense always be a doubt existing, the market might never settle. |
By:
gazemug, trump's lawyers haven't alleged systematic fraud in any court. They haven't done that because they have no proof and lying in court has consequences.
By:
It will settle by the time the inauguration is announced.
The Kraken has been released today, dems are doooomed. |
By:
Are you laying Gaze? Could a biggie this one...
By:
I don't know if there's any difference between laying biden and backing trump but I backed Trump at 15. I just want to see the dems exposed, the money would be just a bonus.

dumb and dumber was a good movie

Whether you are a Biden or a Trump follower this is a farce. I know some on here say Trump was claiming voter fraud last time but, because he won, that doesn't mean there wasn't fraud. The Democrats failed in their attempt to get Hilary in last time so they possibly upped the ante this time. All they needed was a corpse to stand in front of the people.
Anyone should agree that votes arriving and being counted days even weeks after the event is a nonsense for such a well established country. And, lets face it, no-one voted for Biden. I have seen no claims on here about Biden's ability as a potential president only whether or not you are for or against Trump. Or should I say for the media or for Trump. |
By:
This is simply yet another opportunity for free money.
Anyone backing Trump is thinking odds of 15 are good because it's a toss-up. It isn't. |
By:
Andrew: We will see how "FREE" this money is when the U.S. Supreme Court rules
![]() It's a longshot but you never know. Trump seems confident anyway! |
By:
Punts
It will not even get to the US Supreme court, there is no actual evidence of voting irregularities apart from DT saying there is. He has to keep the charade going, and will do forever because he is never wrong in his eyes. You wouldn't expect DT to be anything else than confident, he has to be in order to convince his deluded voters. |

Still people Tilting at Windmills I see.
By:
“To tilt at windmills” is a venerable English idiom meaning to pursue an unrealistic, impractical, or impossible goal, or to battle imaginary enemies. In current usage, “tilting at windmills” carries connotations of engaging in a noble but unrealistic (usually wildly unrealistic) effort, an endeavor which may garner the admiration of onlookers but which usually strikes other people as delusional (“Rather eccentric … inclined to tilt at windmills,” Agatha Christie, Death on the Nile, 1937). The phrase is especially popular in the US media during the presidential election season every four years, when at least two or three candidates pop up who have something to say but exactly zero chances of actually winning.
By:
Andrew: They have evidence and affidavits from experts and poll workers: ALL Admissible in court.
You and dave may not like it but carrot and Gooner are right. This is a process that has a way to go yet. If Trump can get the postal votes thrown out he will win. If Dominion voting system is ruled insecure then he can win (in various states!) Will come down the to the Supreme Court (imo) so best not count your winnings just yet... |
By:
The SCOTUS will not hear any meaningful case in this election. trump has lost and anyone backing him is simply burning money. The only bright side is that trump as he becomes more desperate might say something silly, leading to charges of sedition.
By:
and god spake unto moses and said those that understand probability will take money away from them those that do not. and so it was and he saw that it was good.
By:
dave, your wrong. The Supreme Court will probably decide this.
His other strategy is to get the legislators in the states to refuse to appoint electors making the electoral college deadlocked and then it goes to the House of Representatives where each state has one vote and I believe he has the numbers to win (this is a remote possibility)... All I'm saying is Trump has a few options to pursue! |
By:
No, they won't. They will hear some irrelevant procedural bits and pieces, but they will utterly never make a judgement that overturns a state result, much less several. Because they know that overturning Biden's win would be the end of the United States with the turmoil that would cause.
By:
Michigan, for example, has no choice but to appoint electors for Biden - that is the law there. Any elected GOP officials who do otherwise will go to jail.

Has Betfair or anyone else read this paragraph in the market rules recently?
Please note that candidates in this market will not be partially settled and will remain in the market until it is fully settled. This is to allow customers to continue trading candidates that they have positions on and because each candidate is still a valid runner in this market. This is now a 2-horse race. Is there any reason Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and the rest cannot be removed today? (Aside from Betfair having to think about what the other rules mean.) |
By:
Wrong dave. It is up to the legislators ... that is in the constitution in black and white
