Well done, Redrob you've posted a video of a number of Trump hating women who've twisted what Trump said. As Magic Daps has pointed out, he never actually said that people should go around injecting themselves with disinfectant! LOL at the women at the end of the video citing New Zealand as the way to go. This is a country that has more sheep than people. Hilarious stuff! How do these people get airtime?

I am a remoaning lefty but I am sorry I do not get this hatred of Trump and BOris.
Boris is clearly a mouthpiece, Cummings is the brains of the operation. Boris says daft things but if anyone thinks that Cummings doesnt know what he is doing, they are deluding themselves. They havent done a particularly good job with the virus. But I do doubt any other politician in this country would have been able to do anything different. As for Trump, does anything he say really affect anything in your life? He had a couple of odd election promises, the wall for instance but for the first time since Eisenhower this is as US president who isnt interested at all in waging overseas wars. He is more interested in charming the likes of Putin and Kim Jong Un. Biden on the other hand was all over the west intervention in Ukraine a few years back. His son was up to naughties syphoning off US military aid. Trump wanted to stop this and for that the Democrats tried to impeach him. Which is the point here I think. Both Cummings and Trump are outside the mainstream establishment. They are not representative of Western Liberal democracy. Which is the system I believe to be tearing the world apart. Threats like Cummings and Trump are painted as dangerous individuals. But lots of people are thinking 'dangerous to who?'. Judging by election results they might be a majority. |

Hi saddo, hope you well Sir, it was the Dream of those peoples on return from the madness of the second world war, but in my view, America never let it happen, they put those spouting such dreams behind bars after the War, a clear conflict of interests to the minority rich it would appear.? All guess work from myself, and I no longer believe like many most of what is seen and given on the news. Very worrying times.

OK, something went wrong on the % calculation, it should said around 0.25% of the population.
But the figures were correct, 2400 deaths in a population of 976,000, and looking at the age ranges of the deceased in Sweden, these presumably were mostly over-80s with who knows what existing co-morbidities. They didn't place people under house arrest or muzzle them and threaten them with huge fines, and they didn't destroy jobs and businesses like they have in this country, and they didn't neglect essential health services such as cancer and coronary. As of September 24th, 76 people under the age of 50 had died in Sweden from covid 19, and who knows what co-morbidities they had, if any? How many did Ferguson and his pals predict would die in Sweden by May 1st if they didn't lock down, 40,000 was it? So people like Macksman can stick his head up his 'Rse and pretend what is happening in this country is justified or proportional to the risk faced from covid 19. But we do have a real example of what happens when the population is allowed to face up to and live with Covid-19, and it's called Sweden. |

Well said George. Sweden have got it right, more or less, and we have backed the wrong horse. It seems inevitable that we are in for another 6 months of restrictions. But hey, let's not worry, because when March comes around guess what....the virus will still be with us!
