you stated 1sec is 6 Lengths on the flat... you were / are wrong. now you have moved on to Lingfield as a deflection tactic. maybe you should get your facts spot on before calling folk names on here and making out you are above everyone else. because when you get it wrong (which you invariably do) you just make yourself look rather silly. |

Its been done to death but...
Lets take VIN DIJK as an example at Southwell yesterday...the price in the system a couple of strides before the 1 pole for me were 1.25 to back 1.35 to lay. It is gaining slowly but still remains a length down. even if 1s is 15yd and not 20yd..... I am seeing odds in the system that represent the odds of something that happens approx 1s-1.5s later on the video available to all. Then add to this the person putting the odds in the system it takes them 0.2seconds to make the bet or 200ms? Then add to this they have to negotiate the 1s mandatory BF delay? Making the delay 2.2s minimum at Southwell yesterday imo. 40 odd yards behind |

Think its pretty universal that 1 sec = approx 6 lengths i believe a length is approx 9 feet hence approx 18 yards per second. |
