But whilst it doesn't work for I/R players it still works if you aren't bothered about I/R and are happy just to watch the race on a lower setting. There must be a large amount of people who Betfair have seen an uptick in doing this which is why "in their eyes" there is little incentive to sort it out when only us I/R minority are affected by it, that's what I suspect anyway. Pablo is right, been saying it all along. |

And the faster pics tomoz that we're all looking forward to will only be of any use if the platform can deliver them, if we have the same set up as we do now why will the minimum setting suddenly work?

Hibby, my laptop is about 12 years old and that may be the problem but I can assure you if I stick a score or any amount on a horse IR on LV the picture disappears behind the screen.

we're now being told RTV BLV is 0.9 secs behind 'live'... what's your view...? personally i think it's nearer 9 secs than 0.9 secs. |

I've thought over the past week or so it has slowed and today the rtv sky comms itself is slightly ahead of the lv itself.
Some of the prices have gone very low too soon, we've all noticed that when it just "feels" wrong and lately that has been happening too often. |

chelmsford last night RTV BLV was level with ch426...
haydock today RTV BLV was behind ch426... those two are facts.. and i've been feeling for a while that RTV in general was being slowed down so they could come out one day soon and say how wonderful they are coz they've speeded up RTV BLV when in fact nothing of the sort has happened... i might be wrong tho of course... just a feeling i've had for a while now. |

I've purposely stayed away this week, electing to do the snooker instead, after getting incredibly frustrated with it last week.
Interestingly, there are similar stop-start issues with the BFLV product there. When you first click on it, it's several seconds ahead of Eurosport, but after a few mins it's virtual parity... There must be all of 10 of us (at most) watching that here. |

Minimum latency is as jumpy as my name Low latency is smoother but prices are gone before you can catch them Normal latency means the suspend banner comes up on betfair before we see them cross the finish line so god knows how far behind the 'live' pics are on that setting |
