not exactly like finding money in the street

My point is I wouldnt be surprised if the press boys working for rtv play off fast pics.
I agree though that doesn't mean mcnae was if he's in the studio Still not sure what your point is wes |

GPS could account for the betting IR
By:
1.01s getting beaten likely to be those who were still betting while the pics went down fighting it out between themselves
By:
I often think the most interesting thing about situations like this is when you look at who's not got anything to say about it....
By:
They blanked the screen because it was a fast feed
By:
does make those who think we are on a level playing field with no one ahead of us at the track look a bit foolish
that race puts that argument to bed, who it is ahead is the question |
By:
GPS in saddle cloths JD .
you don't need pictures to see who is the leading or the winner |
By:
yes james, the world is not perfect unfortunately
By:
Did the commentary go down too (I'm deaf)? Because if it did, how did Betfair know when to suspend?
By:
Not perfect wes, but when theres a government body in place who are supposed to stop people getting abused in this industry then you have to ask what is the point of em?
By:
You think that winner has went 1.01 for 16k due to people using GPS rather than people playing from the track/facteime, pablo?
Would bet odds on it being the latter |
By:
Ah. pablo answered my question. They could be suspending off the GPS rather than the pictures.
By:
pablo you have it hm
By:
JD , definitely FT pics
but can also be GPS users/bots using GPS |
By:
I'd say there's a few playing at the track and facetime, possible drones.
Wouldnt like to be relying on GPS in a horses saddle over the jumps!! Can they detect if the jockey un shipped at the last? |
By:
the fact RTV were able to get a replay of the race suggests to me that the original pics got to the Racetech trucks without any issues...
and the issue was probably from the Racetech truck to the RTV studio... mmm... interesting. |
By:
aye we know wes, fully paid up member of the tory 'Im alright jack' brigade
By:
i'm on record in saying some weird and wonderful things happen at these Yorkshire tracks...
By:
Didnt say I did, you can be a full supporter of the ideology of weak regulation and not vote

By:
pablo you have it hm
sorry pizzaro , what does hm mean ![]() |
By:
They free tuna mayo sannies at the racing tv think tank days out got wes gagged
![]() |
By:
Dusty, if you feel aggrieved that you're being phucked over by BF due to slower pics or whatever, then just don't play.
It really is that simple. |
By:
No it isnt wes, because its the same argument that leads us into one corrupt scandal after another.
Whether it happens to be racing, betting in general or the banking sector its all the same. Take the power away from regulators, look the other way so ill gotten gains fill the coffers then try and sweep it under the carpet when the abuse gets found out. |
By:
By:
![]() So you're compelled to play on BF? https://responsiblegambling.betfair.com/ |
By:
^ to dusty
By:
The thing I have never understood about your stance on similar matters, Wes, is that it's very much a short-term view. You don't seem to get that this (and various associated ones) is an issue that could expedite the demise of HR IR betting. Surely none of us wants that? The leveller the playing field, the greater the liquidity, no?
By:
james, I really don't care about LV speeds to the extent that I got off my arse & went to RTV's focus group BS.
Far from being "I'm alright Jack" according to some on here. |
By:
Compelled to play?
Opportunism isnt ethical however much party donors try and lead you astray. What is the point of a regulator then in your world wes? |
By:
True wes, you did go.
That's why don't get your stop complaining or just don't play stance, seems a bit hypocritical |
By:
Yes lats, but its worse than that, because the idea that those of us who happen to not get caught out by others' malevolence is based on the fact we know it happens and are forearmed, people dont know, and things get ever more contrived to the point even those in the know dont know what ruses are being pulled and ultimately get caught out.
By:
Because nanny state fans like dusty are trying to get the baby thrown out with the bathwater & ban IR entirely.
That's how it appears to me. |
By:
By:
If I was trying to get the thing banned Id be instructing solicitors to press the case against the regulator.
Wes only confident because hes making money....until somebody nicks his pension because he got conned, then he will change his tune. |
