how long before Mr.Hunt pops on and tells us all nobody at the track has faster pics just now....

it's facetimers and twichers (which i presume are folk outside the actual track who relay the info on to whoever pays for it) to play in running...

Mr.Hunt always likes to throw us off the scent...

pity we don't all fall for it tho...

I imagine the risk of the rug getting pulled is far greater from sticking your fingers in your ears and going la-la-la than it is from trying to achieve as level a playing field as possible, but we will have to agree to disagree on that.

would be interesting to know if the big screen went blank during the race...

and the small screens around the track also...

inside and outside small screens i mean...

if i had to take a guess i would suggest the big screen and all small screens around the track were fine...

Lat, of course as "level a playing field as possible" is the aim.

Who'd disagree with that?

Prices on Royal Brave there.... ffs
By:

When: 06 Oct 20 15:35
just about to post the same john...

1.01 with 50 yards to go and it was by no means race over on RTV BLV pics...

in reality the track players knew it had already past the winning post in front...

that's how slow these RTV BLV pics are...
By:

When: 06 Oct 20 15:37
it was the same on either the first race at catterick, layed the winner at 4/6 to green up....got matched at 1.02

but aye royal brave there was crazy, not even sure if it was in the lead

which as we all know should be nobody right now...
By:

head on angles like that and prices so short that far out would suggest drones or scarecrows face timing

Yorkshire track james...

all sorts go on there...

i'm sure Betfair will investigate thoroughly...

add that to the very select few who have the fast pics from racetech/track /rtv fast stream and it's almost impossible

but hey, fear not, they are all working hard on it....june the 1st they said.....then several weeks...then another while yet....no statement for a while
mind you

as i said all along james...

it's Mike Reid's Runaround stuff....

never believed they would be delivered 'in the next couple of weeks' or whatever was said at the time...

personally i doubt they will ever be delivered tbh...
By:

TBH, Wes, a lot of the things we have disagreed on have been things that have led me to conclude that you weren't that bothered about level playing fields (THAT Saturday at Ascot where pics were eons behind where you were adamant that BF shouldn't be telling customers that the delay was far greater than usual; the ridiculous situation with stewards enquiries in Ireland, whereby BF would suspend the market way before an official result was declared, but long enough to allow anybody who didn't know that was likely to happen to get themselves into a hole, etc).  I suspect they are probably some of the reasons why Dusty accused you of being a Tory boy earlier!  Happy

in running is only going to get worse john..

believe me.

once things start to get bad they get really bad very quickly...

not far off that point now if you ask me...

and if Betfair allows dregs of humanity types to have huge advantages over folk sat at home then it will only end up becoming pointless being sat at home very quickly indeed...

and the amazing thing is that Betfair knows fine well who these 'people' are...

yet does nowt about it...

oh well.

Out of interest wes are you consistent in this line of thinking?
Do you believe people who draw down part of their pensions with which to invest and get conned are also fair game for abuse and it be their own fault....or is it just exclusively betting where anything goes?
By:

It's all about protecting the integrity of the BF product and, ironically, is the sort of action that would make it much less likely for IR to be legislated away.

Crazy

So receiving live video which everybody knows is not going to be exactly "live" is now the equivalent of fraud?

You sound bright.

‘Live’ pictures are typically delayed by 2-5 seconds. For some sports the delay may be longer. For further information please see our T’s and C’s.

It's definitely spiraling hibs. It's stupid not for me to cut stakes because of the liquidity alone. Can't be betting on a flat race with that pausing. The days of me sat here trying to nick a few quid, regardless of how bad it is are long gone.
By:

and that's what happens john...

previously folk would have thought about playing and said 'aye ok then'...

slow / jumpy pics we have now and the answer is 'i'll give it a miss i think and watch the footy or tennis'...

which is why i say it will only get worse and i cannot see how it gets reversed...

unless they get faster RTV pics very soon...

which could be delivered now of course...

and as for ATR BLV...

that is a lost cause now.

Ahhh wes, so the financial sector missing a trick arnt they?
Why dont they simply place a disclaimer saying 'There are sharks about and you could lose the lot'?

Perhaps due diligence should be the responsibility of the purchaser and not those offering content?
Licenses not required either if they come with a disclaimer that the money held could simply be lost?

Aint been to a track in a decade, back in on course bookie days, never did the boxes, office boy me.

Haven't read thru thread properly but keep seeing comments about needing level playing field or gunna die, all i can say to that is WALOFS , 15 YEARS IN YOUR ALL STILL HERE!!

Forget all the level crap, the only thing endangering it at the mo is these ATR pics, we are nation of relentless punters but theres only so much folk can take and getting worse each day.

ps - southwell = WALOFS...BIG BIG WAlOFS...

The very fact that products are sold exclusively by courses for individuals to use to take advantage of people IR is no different to a disclaimer on an fobt that gives the liklihood of being rinsed....they both fund the profits of the company at the expense of the user, yet one has been scrutinsed while the other hasnt.

15 YEARS IN YOUR ALL STILL HERE!!

---------------------------------

you clearly don't look at matched amounts system99...

totals for the race are a shadow of days gone by...

and in running amounts from say 1.01 to 1.3 are now at the laughable stage imv...

plenty have left...

and plenty more will leave...

and it ain't just ATR BLV pics...

RTV BLV pics are way behind pics used by dregs of humanity types.
