Yeah. Hard to be 100% accurate as to what constitutes a length. Possibly a fraction under three lengths on that last race, which would be 0.55 sec.

mine starts off at about 0.2 secs ahead of ch426 then slowly grinds to a halt and ends up level after about 2 furlongs...

timed them against a slower feed to make it easier , sky is 3.1 ahead of the feed LV is 3.6 ahead = 0.5

Rather than guess distances then convert that into times, why not try google stopwatch and time both live more accurately

its almost impos to time differences under 1 sec accurately...more sure 0.3 0.4 is virtually imposs..i'll reiterate.. 0.7 at the speed of that race equates to around 10-12yds...its 2yds ahead at racing pace at most. would it not be better to time the difference between the clocks?
Given everyones RTV clock should be the same and LV clock be the same (irrespective of whether they are accurate to each other) That way you can determine whether the difference between them is not down to RTV being slower |

another difference for me today...
when i click on the race the picture is taking a good 5 seconds to appear... get a black screen thingy immediately after clicking on the race and then the RTV pics appear... wasn't like that the last two days for RTV races... another one for the 'how strange' category... |

Taking into account the reaction time to pause RTV on the telly, I'd say that the 0.7 secs shown in Racing Luck's photo is what everyone is getting, regardless of the type of Sky box you're using.

Anyone with any competance of a stopwatch will get accurate to within 0.1 of sec if taking average of about 5-6 goes.

Jamesdean: I'm pretty sure I'm not getting faster Betfair LV pictures than anyone else. We've barely got broadband out here in the Quantocks, never mind fast broadband.
My dish and cabling are 9 years old. The only thing which might be giving me an advantage is my Sky+ HD box, as I bought a refurbished one a few months ago. It's a mystery why everyone isn't seeing what me and a few others are seeing. The irony is that personally I'm still playing off RTV pics on the telly, as the better quality more than makes up for the 0.6/0.7 sec lag for the way I play. |

Nearly everyone has 0.4-0.5 ahead, one outlier at 0.7 and a couple with God knows what that are the same.
