yous two might be on different levels of facetime
the live video has lost just over haf a sec, .5 to .8 not good enough |
By:
apologies rl..bflv mayb borderline 1 sec but on 0 buffer it stuttered..today seems ok though.
By:
atr track..ft is 0.7 ahead of daq lv...daq is 1.3 ahead of bf lv.
so daq is 1 sec behind live and blv 2.3. rtv 3:15 daq lv and blv on 1 buff virtually identical ..both 1.3 ish behind live. blv on 0 buffer bout 0.5 ahead and not stuttering give or take a 1/10th those times are accurate. |

Why am I getting hee-haw on BF web page's Live Stream and then allowing Flash, cookies etc?
By:
flash is designed to ask every time..whats hee haw?
By:
Scottish for 'nothing'.

willie - as of now rtv live vid is 0.90 - 0.95 seconds behind live!
This trail that we got 3 times was 0.7 seconds behind live at best! these are facts 200ms improvement imo is not good enough but everyone is being fed lies saying its near identical to ft and if anything the track boys are loving when a trail happens ![]() |

trial

No way new rtv trial is only .2 faster that what it is new.
It's near a second faster than sky rtv which is level with the current rtl lv |
By:
everyone is being fed lies saying its near identical to ft
so im lying? |
By:
My geeks toy pop-out player is clearly slower than it was (comparing it to virgin SSR) and when I try to change latency, a message 'Sorry, low latency is not supported in IE/ Edge browser' comes up. I think they use IE.
I use Chrome but just getting blank screen off BF's web page link. |
By:
what it is now not new..
By:
By:
no not sayingyour lying.. you are just testing wrong
By:
the other nite the bfblv trial was barely a 1/10th behind ft..i was comparing with a pic from an aerial direct into a box laptop that had a delay to me of around 200ms..therefore was nigh on 0.3-0.4 behind track.

RL
The only way you can be right is if the sky broadcast RTV channel was slowed at the very same time the trials were implemented, and even then the clock needed to have been speeded up so as to not notice Thats farcical theory The BFLV trial was 0.9xs ahead of sky broadcast |
By:
rtv lv as it is now is identical to sky rtv
the new rtv lv trials were near 1 sec ahead of sky tv, maybe .9 surely that makes the new rtv lv .9 faster than the one in use now |
By:
The BFLV trial was 0.9xs ahead of sky broadcast agreed
By:
where you getting only .2 diff then?
By:
james lv is not identical to sky lv well not for me anyway
By:
slow tv? its the analogue box feed.
By:
ahh i see
what browser you use for rtv lv rl? |
By:
RL - I agree with WS re speeds, i've been sent a couple of videos with the new stream in comparison to face time there is barely anything in it. The real proof lay within the markets, I was able to back and lay with confidence during those trials. If that is the finished RTV product i'll be more than happy.
By:
rtv lv as it is now is identical to sky rtv
on 0 buffer correct..and not stuttery now. |
By:
BLV have moved to a non-flash solution, **** are still on Flash. I have it on good authority that ATR have lost support for Flash from Sunday morning.... so good luck to **** rolling out a new solution on Sunday...

Whats the method of complaining to bf then these days if you dont have twitter? |
By:
for the s hitshow atr product
By:
^ that's the reason why I started using my twitter account
probably easier to use than timing pic speeds |
By:
why is sky rtv 1.7 behind at kempton then? and why cant trial start for first race instead of waiting for 2nd race where there is a 30 min break? to what switch over to turn on trial making sky 1.7 behind? and making this crazy new lv 0.9 ahead of sky
![]() |
By:
my kemp ft is always been 1 sec ish ahead of rtv..so if rtv is -1.7 then the ft has a 0.7ms latency?
By:
Im losing the will to f uckin live here
What are you saying RL ffs? |
By:
Dusty - Live Chat I think is the only other option unless you have an account manager.
By:
twitter
By:
willie is it 0.5 to get the ft from the track via skype to the main supplier and then an additional 0.2 for you to receive it via teamviewer ?

Betfair Help
@BetfairCS · 24m Just to clarify the situation. As of this morning, ATR UK horse racing streams have moved away from Flash to a new low latency solution. However, South African, Australian, French racing along with ATR greyhounds have been moved to a higher latency stream for the time being. ![]() |

Is this new sky/atr lv using the same thing as the new rtv lv?
If so, surely they can get both the same speeds, so no need for this added delay to sky tracks |
