It does look like javascript to me, just like RTVLV
But it all depends on what they are using as the initial pic |
By:
James - no it's different tech, ATR have gone the slow option, reasons to be explained to me Monday.
By:
RL
You sure the RTV on track wasnt the SD channel? |
By:
By:
ok booty, ta
![]() |
By:
So to clarify you are saying you think they slow the channel down when supplying the new LV?
By:
Im going for a f uckin slurp this is getting f uckin daft
By:
not slowing it on purpose but theres an added delay yes
By:
How comes facetime pics are identical to lv then?
surely not slowing pics from track as well |
By:
Can now see Donny on minimum latency on Firefox, but pics very stuttery.
By:
They think this is "low latency"?
By:
It is in corporate speak, compared to high latency
The problem is its still slower than it was |
By:
By:
ATR tracks going backwards, while RTV going forwards.....but the bootman apparently will get the lowdown as to why
While RL smoking his own socks |
By:
bugs..when im at sedge and hex ive got the ft pic and track feed side by side..we arnt 3yds ahead.
and thats the ft being sent from track to an office laptop and then to my laptop. scary the latency. |
By:
Just seen this new LV, initial impressions to me:
1. On minimum setting it's ever so slightly slower than before on 1 setting. 2. The bloody full screen option doesn't work, so you have to fiddle about slightly to get it how you want it. 3. Better picture. Is that about right? |
By:
but rl doest go to track but knows otherwise

By:
Im convinced hes not reaslised the RTV at track was in SD and hes just realised and wont admit it

at kemp
By:
atr never been interested in providing fast pics, aint gonna start now
By:
rtv blv is going forwards and atr blv is going backwards it a shambles
By:
be interesting to hear why they aint using same tech as rtv come monday
By:
and more so, why aint betfair demanding they use the same as rtv, theyre the ones paying for it
By:
simple solution is click earlier.
By:
figuratively
The ones paying for it are their customers when they get a worse product |
By:
By:
well why is sky sports racing so far behind live why is it not similar to rtv
By:
RL listen to your hypothesis if not
Its batty You are suggesting they do the most insincere slow down trick in some insidious conspiracy bigger than 9/11 |
By:
i didnt say they slow down on purpose its just sent a different way
By:
the tv channel?
By:
when im at sedge and hex ive got the ft pic and track feed side by side..we arnt 3yds ahead.
and thats the ft being sent from track to an office laptop and then to my laptop. scary the latency. fact..but rl says otherwise. ![]() |
By:
Your theory means at the very same time they send the new LV they slow the tv broadcast down and speed up the clock....then put it all back when done
By:
we arnt 3yds ahead
thats impressive that means you get a round trip back to you in about 150ms..where do i sign up? |
By:
By:
Yeah Wes, it's all ok cheers , I just wanted it to be the same as before, I used to hit the full screen icon and a pop up would launch.
By:
goes full screen if you click the 4 arrows twice, bottom right hand corner
By:
Are people getting stuttering on minimum, mine has been fine with a better picture and that last Donny race was over 5 secs ahead of ATR which appears the same as before so we've got a net improvement with the better picture, no expert timings here though
By:
it's over half a second slower than it was yesterday
By:
It does james, and then immediately flicks back off of it here. regardless of what browser I use, so I have to drag the main menu about myself and enlarge it from the settings.
