2nd last at the 500m pole (on the inside no less)
May regret that for the rest of his life |
By:
Nearly rode the perfect race. Best horse got beat.
By:
dont see what hes done wrong tbh
By:
good ride
By:
you knew she had a bad draw before the race no?
By:
took a right when should have gone left, cost it the race
By:
Would have won head in chest with a better draw....hollow victory for Enable but a victory none the less.
By:
backed Enable but I agree that with an earlier run, Sea of Class would have won. Two very good fillies.
By:
That will haunt him for the rest of his days.
By:
gave one of the best horses ever a 20 length start, beaten a foot ...
By:
Haha
By:
rode the same race in ireland and won. beaten by a better horse today.
By:
You knew something was coming after Haggas said Doyler can do whatever he wants
By:
.... worse than Greville Starkey on Dancing Brave imo ....
By:
I guess she was always going to be ridden like that but a bit more positivity in the first 100 yards and Sea Of Class wins.
By:
Armchair jocks out in force.
By:
Got lost in France ...The Clown......Don't let him ride in a Breeders Cup ffs.
By:
Backed sea of class myself crap draw beat the horse
By:
10/10 Ride.
What are you crying pocket talkers on about. |
By:
Bad draw alright but did he have to sit motionless in last place until they turned in today?
By:
got 25s ir frustrating but wouldnt be putting any blame on the jockey
By:
last in a field of that size turning for home gives you zero chance. No issue being held up as always but should have made a move to get her forward in the field at the start of the false straight.
Asking her to pick up a field of 19 runners in the straight is laughable. |
By:
apparently everybody wins on betfair, after reading some of the threads by the armchair jockeys on here i find that hard to believe
By:
James Doyle was atrocious on his horse, and yes we know it had a bad draw, the same way we knew enable had a bad draw last year.
The best horse quite clearly didn’t win and anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t an iota |
By:
Frankie was in prime position all thru the race, was practically a rerun of last year..she's more a galloper
whereas SoC has a potent turn of foot, little unlucky in my book, fantastic filly beaten by a more mature mare with a more savvy pilot on top |
By:
Going on continually about the draw...... Defoe (18) and Study of Man (19) were in perfect positions at the home turn,
just a couple of lengths off the lead |
By:
very poor effort and no criticism from the pundits.Didnt back it either jonjon.Very poor.
By:
Enable the best horse by some way with cut in ground. Will come on for race but yes SOC could have won today
By:
He did nothing wrong, gave it a great ride, was he unlucky in running, probably.
By:
The jockey did nothing wrong, the horse needs to be held up, therefore he had to turn right from the gates and trust to luck.
If she was a front runner he could have burned more petrol from the off and try and get her to the front...if he did that with her she would have been beat turning in....better draw and it would have been able to hold a place nearer, not with that draw though. Best filly on the day came 2nd, need a re-match though because after a hard year for Enable she might even be better for the race today. |
By:
absolutely brilliant performance ..... enable wasn't bad either
By:
Doyle rode a good race was a bit unlucky
By:
I wouldn't suggest he did much wrong but that is now two major disappointments on Kingman and Sea Of Class.
The really shocking ride was Moore on the fourth favourite. Yes, it had a poor draw but why would you ride what is essentially a slow horse for a change of pace? Didn't give it a prayer. |
By:
Thought he gave it a fab ride under circumstances. What else could he do?
By:
Jamie Spencer must of had a word with him...
![]() |
By:
he got beat a neck by a wonder filly he was close enough inside the final furlong
dont agree with chapman enable quickened up well inside final furlong and was always doing enough gosden right as usual about seconds ridev |
By:
Got there too late ,that's racing.
By:
He did nothing wrong. Beaten by the draw.
By:
Thought he was Pat Eddery on Dancing Brave.....Only he aint no Pat Eddery.
