Hej Luciano,

Tack för kommentarerna Wink

Yes desperately unlucky today, but sometimes you don't get the rub of the Green. At least the daily thread is showing a good profit, so no major damage done.

Casemoney,

Thanks. I have to be honest i thought Brasil were going to walk it after they scored, but as i mentioned in the post, Switzerland are not a bad team. A perfect record in qualifying.

Could someone please explain my bet to deadbrain LOL

Casemoney,

How about this is a fun trading bet. Switzerland won't be anywhere near 170 if they qualify from the group Wink

smirnoff,

Thanks.

db,

Laying HT/FT gives you a double chance, that's why the odds are slightly higher than for 90 minutes. If it had been 0-0 at HT, i would have won, even if Brasil scored in the second half and went on to win.

Look at the results over the past few days, how many games were 0-0 at HT, or the favourite was losing 0-1.

It's how you perceive the odds Wink

Does deadbrain understand a ht/ft bet.?

Thinks he is a fukin smart rse.

He clearly didnt understand the bet - hard enough finding winner in a footy match never mind ht/ft cos so many imponderables -even more so in rugby union/lge etc cos anything can happen so lots of value in taking on a shorty in this market  - wd Abba LaughLaughLaugh

Another successful selection on the daily lay thread yesterday bringing up the 40 (from 45) as i enter the last full week of selections (end next Sunday).

Although it's a 3 day 'midsummer' weekend here and most locals will have woken with a hangover, i'm actually busy with various things and will be watching the Germany - Sweden game on a big screen in the city square this evening. As a consequence, i don't have time for the usual essay length write up, so it's a very short post with just a simple bullet format today

Redcar 4.35 God Willing

A record of 2/42 is a good reason in itself to lay it, and as a 7 year old is not going to be improving.

Dropped to claiming class that's probably his level these days anyway.

Very one paced and in my opinion connections should have stayed at 8f with him, it appears to be his better trip.

Layers will have 5/6 running for them

Lay @ 3.70

Lampus requested selections for Royal Ascot and i've been posting a few EW with mixed success (including a 10/1 winner and 20/1 3rd) since Tuesday so for the last time here are todays W/P outsiders.

4.20 City Light (comments on the daily thread) @ 17.0

5.00 Blue de Vega @ 28

Some of you will be aware of what i considered to be the best bet of the RA meeting this week, and i think this is the colt that will provide Ryan Moore with yet another RA top jockey award.

5.35 Thomas Hobson @ 2.38 (win only)

I've mentioned Eeh Bah Gum before and feel he could still be a few lbs ahead of the handicapper.

Redcar 3.50 Eeh Bah Gum @ 3.0 (win only)

In the football, all 3 games look one sided with Belgium and Germany looking a likely short priced double. In Mexico vs South Korea i have backed under 2.5 goals @ 1.64

Good luck.

P/L carried over from the daily thread.

Summary of lays (all stakes to win £50 per day) :

Progress 40/45
Daily profit -
Running p/l +£1548.50 Grin

Overall progress 47/57 (including Saturday and Sunday thread). 61 days (4 void)
Overall profit +£1377 Grin

Andrew in Sweden ,not only are you are a good judge, but your politeness and ability to deal with any negativity (warranted or not)is
quite clearly that of a true gentleman. No wonder you are often busy at work ,I would guess that your employers value you highly.Surely
given your success you should be doubling your stakes to a hundred pounds ,not only increasing your profit ,but also reducing your Betfair
reduction rate.Well done sir !!

Blunder,

Many thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. The reason for the high reduction rate is in Sweden the base is 6.5% (5% in UK). If I lived back home i would be paying 3.44%.

KC,

Thank you.

Andrew you could just put the lays and backs without the write ups
if you not got the time to do them,
