Happy Christmas Andrew, Happy and all apart from the troll
Watched Elf (brilliant Christmas film )last night and Santa said the difference between an elf and a troll is that the troll is not toilet trained !! The amount of xxxx spouted on here from one such individual that certainly figures GL on Boxing Day, looking forward to the racing resuming, maybe laying Cyname, not convinced he should be 13/8 and have backed Elegant Escape at 10/1 EW for the Welsh Nat. That would be a nice end to the year ![]() |

Good morning Guys and Girls from a lovely, sunny, Christmas Eve in München.
Last day of the Christmas markets (in general) so we're taking a final walk around the Marienplatz (with a Glühwein or 3) for this year. Shops will close earlier than normal, as will many tourist attractions, so a casual day for us. No UK racing as we all know, but i will type some Boxing day thoughts (continuing those of a few days ago) and hopefully a lay selection, there's enough meetings after all. In the meantime i wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season with your loved ones, enjoy the festivities. Many thanks for all the supportive and post race comments in previous months, much appreciated as always. ![]() Response to posters : leif 21 Dec 19 21:27 Seasons greetings to you and your family Andrew. Imitation would be a form of flattery if it was anywhere replicated but they are making a dog's dinner of it wherein it's just an incoherent plate of tripe. Take my hat off to you, if I was donning one, with your ability to resist the bating of said morons. Leif, Thank you and likewise seasons greetings to you and your loved ones. ![]() Kemo and his other 2 ID's (MMFTY blocked) don't bother me one iota, i got used to the boring, repetitive drivel months ago. He can't understand why he's not taken seriously on here and is consumed by his failure of emulation. It's an open forum, so he's entitled to an opinion, but it's usually post race, and anything else he has to say is enveloped by constant lying. It's takes all sorts i guess. I will also finalise the status and P/L as always. The new thread will be exactly the same format as the first two, with matched bets, that i couldn't replicate on the latest thread until a few weeks ago for reasons everyone knows. |

Good morning everyone and Boxing Day Greetings from a sunny West München.
Many thanks to the posters Trusty, PHS, 23nights, Bitbybit, Fronter, Happysandwich, Minnie, Smirnoff and Second again for the comments and Christmas Greetings since my last past. Likewise I wish you all a happy festive season. ![]() I assume you all had a wonderful celebration with loved ones (and some not so loved ) it's what Christmas is all about, or should be at least. Germany is basically closed for 2 days, although public transportation is up and running today, and i'm happy about this, another day of excess at home, although we may go down to the lake at Herrsching (after racing) for some fresh air and it's a nice day here.Having said, it appears my nemesis Calamity Kemo had far more important issues at varying times throughout the Christmas period on here, not only having a pop several times, but starting a complete thread in my name. Mind you, not a single poster agreed with his tormented and bedevilled opinion, so I will take that as yet another victory, it's becoming a cricket score. ![]() This is the guy that chastised me for taking my daughter to the BMW welt, tower and museum (fantastic by the way). He's obsessed, but his actions only reinforce my opinion that he's no more than an unemployed, spiteful, and sad old man who needs to get a life, specially over Christmas. Anyway enough about him, and on to far more interesting topics and what this thread should be about (and used to be). The day we've all been waiting for since Saturday evening has finally arrived, after 4 blank days of UK racing, the sport of Kings returns, more in quantity that quality, although the graded cards in Ireland and Kempton certainly supply the latter, including the KG (2.45). I mentioned my thoughts on this race several days ago, but to reiterate (and save typing) here is part of it. Looking further ahead to the KG on Boxing day, i guess many of us are eagerly waiting for this race in what racing media appears to be promoting as a duel between Lostintranslation and Cyrname. They could be correct (although i don't see it that way) and although Harry will almost certainly be riding the latter, i keep going back to review form of his stablemate Clan Des Obeaux, winner of the race last year and it could be argued maybe against a better field (at least at the time). Native River (rated 176) was well beaten in 3rd, and there were 2 others in the 170 and up range. I think 7/2 is a little on the short side and with only 7 runners, EW is restrictive, but if i do bet on the race, he will be my win selection, albeit small for an interest. If i had to lay one of the two main protagonists, it would be Lostintranslation, simply as i think Cyrname is the better of the two (2/2 at Kempton). Colin's runner is without doubt a classy type, and i do like him, but i'm not totally convinced the form of his last 2 wins makes him as short as 13/8 in a KG field, even though the runner up LTO, Bristol De Mai is rated 170. Both are good jumpers, although the fences here are fairly easy, but if the going is heavy, the latter's stamina will certainly be tested (never raced beyond 21f) however i don't envisage this will be an issue. Only 5 in the field now and Clan Des Obeaux has drifted out to 11/2 in places and at 1/4 odds (2 places) now appeals as an EW bet, or even better, maybe in the 2TBP. I would still be a layer of Lostintranslation at anything under 2/1, but it's riskier now with the NR. My EW selection is Rocco (2.10 Wetherby) at a general 7/1, who is upped in trip and has a winnable weight (runs off 133 as in his previous race). Still relatively lightly raced, and although only winner of a sole chase could have been 2/4 (fell at the last in one) and has run well in the other two, specially LTO. The move up in trio is certainly a positive. For my Saturday shortie (successful at 9/4 last week) i'm going with Cloudy Glen (1.40 Market Rasen) who has yet to win in 2 novice chases, but has run well enough and may have been a little unfortunate LTO (beaten a neck) when the latter stages turned into a flat race on heavy going with the last fence omitted. The winner is no slouch anyway having won 4 out of his previous 5 now and with Hugh back on board I feel compensation awaits. Available at 11/8 with most books. Across to the Emerald Isle, I think Fakir D'Oudairies (2.20 Leopardstown) who gave an exhibition round of jumping for a novice LTO (probably one of the best seen so far) will beat Laurino. Mind you, it's not 2 horse race by any means with Notebook in the field, so a lay of Laurino is the preferred bet. Samcro, who I felt strongly would have won but for falling LTO (Fakir D'Oudairies won) has a chance to redeem himself over at Limerick (2.40) and unlike the previous paragraph, this is probably a two horse race, so Samcro is selected for the win. Please note my weekend thoughts (including today) are exactly that, thoughts, no more. There is no P/L and never has been (exception of the 2 day Arc weekend) i'm sure everyone knows this anyway (with exception of one). I have no idea of the success/loss rate, i've had big price winners and short price losers, as we all have, and it's not important anyway, if it was I would have create a dedicated thread to it (and with a P/L). Lay post up later. Good luck and have a nice Boxing day all. ![]() |

it also seems hes not answering my request to put up his TWO REAL BETS TWO REAL WINNERS FROM LAST SATURDAY he forgets his loseing bets , IE EW QUALITY LADY . 1.00 PM HAYDOCK , fin 4TH , did i mention i punted the winner at 50/1 ?? |
|
By:
Calamity Kemo,
If I put up my two real winning bets will you leave the forum in the same way I have requested 3 times that you do the same if you post your 50/1 win, 5.68 and the double ? You make enough challenges, yet never keep them and you didn't have the winner. A loser in life and a loser on here. Additionally, I have never blocked you, only your other ID MMFTY (the only person I have) nor have I ever stated as such, although it's getting close and I suspect it will occur on the new thread, as you're so boring and tiresome. |
|
By:
im posting those bets on yr new site mate , YOU did agree to go if i posted them didnt you ; ??? it will be a very short lived thread
|
|
By:
why no mention of yr 1.00 haydock bet and where did you say pre race you were punting WORLDS AT EVENS ,
incidently yr call on riders was good , so why spoil it |
|
By:
Good luck Andrew - hope you’re right with Clan Des Obeaux, I’ve got a large e/w antepost bet at 7/1 with 3 places.
![]() I strongly suggest you stop responding to scrotum baby (or whatever he’s called), as the saying goes ‘don’t feed the troll’. |
|
By:
Hi Guys and Girls,
The lay selection is Wolverhampton 4.55 - Documenting @ 2.48. Reasoning post up later. Unclepuncle, Thank you and good luck with Clan Des Obeaux. |
|
By:
seeems he blocked me ,,, no answer again , ie why no mention of the EW bet in the 1 00
|
|

Oh dear I like this one, seemed to win really well last time although in an easier race, I nearly always back Corinthia but think its a bit below form recently, Royal Birth would have a chance, Summerghand usually runs well first run back but I don't know what it will do on the aw.
Well looking at it bar the outsider they've all got a chance so Andrews got 4 running for him and I'm going round in circles, I was just really impressed with the ease of Documenting win last time and in a lot of its previuos runs I've been against it Good luck whatever however you play. |
|
By:
Matty,
Don't let me put you off if you fancy it, it's all about opinions anyway. At least you and I are putting one up pre-race that don't involve rodents and colour codes. ![]() |
