7.35 Sandown Weekender Nap: Gosden will know whats required to win this race and Frankie has a decent record in it too. And though the Jolly is up in grade he looks to be very progressive. This offspring of Frankel should take this en route to a possible tilt with Order of St. George in the Gold up at Ascot. can see Frankie making all.
2.00 Goodwood Gossiping NB: Granted more luck and a clean run race this Nag really ought to take this. This is its grade and with a perfect draw as long as Kelly doesn't hang on to it to long, should pick them up late. |
|
By:
There goes that run of Winning NB to an end. Gossiping was shocking there. Ironically had to be P.J.Mcdonald that won it shame he didn't do that yesterday on my Nap......The drift in the market on the pick was a sliight worry but that really was awful.
Frankie on the Nap to the Rescue. |

4.10 Curragh Elarqam Nap: Guineas Form usually holds up pretty well over the years. This Horse still looked a bit green in the 2000G n Do think a bold show is expected from the jolly today. Gustav Klimt is the danger from the O'Brien lot.
3.35 Curragh Tasleet NB: Missed York due to a slight niggle but apparently been in great form and ready to go according to Mr. Haggas. Form looks strong on the whole and though Brando will make sure its not one way traffic do think this could also go to the famous Blue n White colors. |

3.00 Curragh Platinum Warrior Nap: Hazapour backers for next week's Derby will be hoping to get a boost here from the pick. having watched the race a few times did look a good renewal of the derrinstown Derby trial. Though this is only a group 3 and O'Brien has that sown up according the betting with Guineas winner. do expect a bold show from Shane Foley on the selection.
5.20 Curragh Clongowes E/W/ 6/1 Bog NB: An open field but do think the Jim Bolger runner should go close. The new trip could well eek out a bit more improvement. |

Thanks Mat
4 winners and 4 places in a Goliath. Prices not that good to get excited but the system was intended to have the tips in the frame. An improvement from the previous day anyway. Good luck with 5.20 race. |
|
By:
Well the 5.20 we only came 2nd but on E/W so no damage done!
Thought Kevin didn't have the cleanest of passages through but hey Cant win em all i guess. The Nap oblige. Pus laid the Fav in the Guineas And backed Vazirabad at evens at Longchamp been another very Fruitful Sunday! Bank manager will be happy ![]() |

16.50 Windsor Koditime Nap: Tipped this horse up on here just over a week ago at York where he was smashed into in the Market. He won pretty decisively under Ryan and expect Adam to the same and boot this fella home in front again. At around 2/1 he's about right in the market as it has Clear Claims. Written on the basis its good ground or quicker if it has been hit by lots of rain abort the Nap and lay off asap.
3.30 Leicester Photographer NB: Frankie's only ride of the day n the hint should be taken. The pedigree screams stamina so the extra 2F today really ought to help plus New Approach horses much prefer the green Grass then Synthetic surfaces n though stable mate is a danger i think the Market has it the wrong way round. Frankie's mount should be Fav over The Havlin horse in my book. |

A couple of 2nds today and both trading short in running.
The Nap just run down after kirby slightly tardy away and taking a while to get out off the rail. Once he did thought would hold on, no surprise 1.09 in running. the difference between winning and losing minuscule, but u do need it all going right at 5F. As for the NB Frankie all at Sea in the middle and again came there in final furlong to win. Thought the pick had a high enough head carriage and looked to dog it a bit n not sure if he ever really wanted to get by. Wont be a rush to get involved with it again. Winner and Obvious danger as highlighted pre race looks progressive and a nice attitude. He still Ain't bad this Mattie, As results n Sp's show on here. Just one of those days. ![]() |

Only three qualifiers today 8.50 Bright: Swiss Cross 3 (P S Mcentee) (11yo) 4.20 LEIC; Immortal Romance 9 (M L W Bell) 1.40 Linga; Beachwalk 4 (Sir Michael Stoute) Not keen on backing 11yo's and next best Titus Secret is only half a point down and has CD win. |

By:
1.40 Linga; Beachwalk 4 (Sir Michael Stoute) won 5/1

Well done with BeachWalk Yesterday Mr. P
Was to late to post my fancy n Nap yesterday The Way You Dance at Lingers. Neil Mulholland over 1m6f on A/W has a great strike rate. Something to bare n mind for the future. Mind You it was almost a horlics moment by SDS as he really didn't have cleanest passage. However he must have plenty in hand as it did finish strongly. Today: 2.00 Bev : Eeh Bah Gum Nap. Clear claims with a good draw in stall 2 which always helps at Beverley. won easy last time and the penalty wont be enough to stop this horse going in again. around 5/2 its worth getting involved. 4.00 Nott : Iconic Belle Nb. E/W at around 6/1 has good chance to be right in the mix here. Do hope they go a good pace as this filly should be rattling home in this long straight at Notts. |
|

So was worried straight away with the change of tactics. Anyway The fav and winner was smashed in the market and well done those on the Jolly. Eeh Bah Gum! ![]() |

Oaks Wild Illusion Nap: This filly been crying out for a longer trip. Strong Claims.
|
|
By:
Bumped into one there. Thought The Jolly had every chance but the winner clearly really strong at the finish.
be interesting to see how the form works out over time. |
|
By:
Derby: Hard to see past the jolly, is he Value at Even Money is the Question? He certainly ain't no odds on shot in my book which is what Greedy Bookies quoted after his Guineas and leading up to today's Race. In reality he is more of a 6/4 shot. So going else where for the Nap. But do Hope Saxon Warrior is the Star that he is expected to be by many and romps home later today and then goes for the Triple Crown.
3.45 Epsom Dark Shot E/W Nap: no surprise to see Caspian and Boom the Groom blaze the trail but do think the pick with younger legs is a horse to keep on side. Really caught the eye last time and its been laid out today for a big run. at around 13/2 with bookies paying from 5 to 6 places he ought to be bang there. 8.30 Chep Kinglami NB low grade affair but Expect a bold show from this veteran at a track he likes. |
|
By:
Bullet dodged in the Derby. Glad it was to short in Matties Book
. never an odds on shot.As for the race itself nothing went right for the jolly as was blocked at crucial stages + unlikely would have won anyway but would not be a rush to write it off yet. Well done to William B n Godolphin. As for my Nap it scrambled in 5th which was just fine as was on E/W. 5 places. Nb to come Later. |
|
By:
Last night Kinglami NB in it Goes!
He's pretty good this Mattie ![]() |
|
By:
Hope Mr.P is enjoying his Cruise.
Had a little break my self hence no tips on here. Good to take break and enjoy the winnings ![]() 7.05 Sandown Al Muffrih Nap: A short price jolly at around even money but really should be a double ya money situation. Made all last time, should be another point and shoot job. Serious Claims! |
|
By:
Very disappointing. jumped out well enough and was expecting Doyle to go and make all instead he tried putting the handbrake on, they crawled round the first few furlongs n the pick ended up to keen. shame he did not do the same as at Newbury and keep it simple and go a decent gallop. unless under orders by Haggas do wonder sometimes what goes through these jockeys heads.
|
|
By:
7.45 Curragh One Master Nap: Normally once bitten twice shy but will give Haggas/Doyle another chance tonight to get back last nights cash back and a little extra as its trading around the 6/4 mark. Again hope this horse will settle and that Doyle doesn't have any bizzare riding tactics in his head. The pick has the form in the book and again should be a tough nut to crack if all goes to plan.

By:
No Good, One of the first to be pushed along and this raid has gone belly up.
|
|
By:
23.46 Belmont Justify Nap: Tipped this up before on here in the Kentucky Derrrby a few weeks ago at decent odds. he's no 4/1 shot tonight but even at around 5/4 he's a good thing. I make him around a 4/6 shot in my book and odds against is value. Another triple crown winner it should be. Like American Pharaoh he is just much the best over there right now. Very Very Strong Claims!
|
|
By:
Boom!
![]() Sensational night in America as Justify Romps home to victory And Seals the Triple Crown!! Great Ride By the Jockey and Bob Baffert had him in A1 Condition! As usual plenty on here knocking the horse after the win for one reason or another. What this horse has done in its short history is remarkable. plenty on here haven't a clue about horse racing! How on God's green Earth did this not go off odds on Betfair was not be believed. xmass in June! its clear the reason not many of us in the 5% bracket Cause the majority dont know the word VALUE and its true meaning ![]() Great Saturday night and mattie's Wheel barrow was full to the brim! Will enjoy my Roast today and defo crack a bottle of Pomerol and Have a Drink the that Super Horse JUSTYFY! |
|
By:
3.30 Nottingham Titi Makfi Nap: With P.J. out of the saddle and Fanning taking over i hope to see a stronger gallop and if so can see this horse make all like Justify did last night
. The stable are bang in form with Johnston having plenty of winners lately. around 3/1 looks a fair price. |
