Any form older than ten years has also been removed which was a useful when researching big races or getting nostalgic. It was all there yesterday. Gone today.

Another perfectly good racing website ruined! Stopped using ATR bar the odd reply since they "upgraded" their site. When the Racing Post site goes full retard I will stop using that site too. Will there actually be any user friendly racing websites left?

OMG it was a fabulous site & now this: No information, really why do they think people actually visit it?? Such basic things missing, racecards are utterly useless now, no live shows, no profile search, no beaten distance, no class of race,etc, etc I could go on with a very long list.
If essential basic information is missing I will be going elsewhere as it seems most of this thread will too, what on earth were they thinking????????? |

hestview ltd (who operate the sporting life site)are sky bet, sky bet want us to get fed of looking at racing sites,(so mess with them all) stop us making informed decisions, and just pick a name you like, because all the useful information is now gone , I'll try the racing post site for a while now, see how I get on, sporting life just downgraded itself

First BF changed the site for the worse. Yesterday the RP completely ****ked their site up. Now SL do likewise.
What are these idiots thinking? Why do they not listen to punter feedback? As if it wasn´t getting getting harder and harder to find winners, it will soon be impossible. Maybe that´s what these bookmaker sponsored or owned sites actually want... After over 40 years punting man and boy, for the first time in my life I can actually imagine giving up. |

found atr search now, have to juggle between atr and ruk sites to view replays now, the sporting life comment that they are going to add football divisions to the site is laughable, isn't that the first thing that should be their on a football site

I concur with Breeding. Look at how these sites make their money, ATR & Racing Post are continually pushing bookmakers with sign up offers and what have you. They get a commission from these bookies form all the losing punters they push their way and in the case of the Sporting Life they are actually owned by a bookmaker. It's in their best interest to give less and less useful information to punters who visit their sites. Around 90% of my betting is on the top class stuff but that is about to get even higher now that I can only rely on paper form for what I need.

With regard to betting shows with the moves alongside, such as we used to get done by a board marker in the shops.
Were will be able to get these when the racingpost closes its old site? That's both the Life and the Post abandoning them now. Can subscribers to the new RacingPost site get them on the new site? |

Just looked up a Race at Warwick tomorrow. No SP F/C prices being shown !!! What the hell are these people playing at.
Is this a sign of things to come. I.e on the Racing Post site, you can't view F/C prices for next day races before 9.30 am on the day of the races, unless you pay a monthly subscription. I do hope SL aren't going down this slippery slope !!! |
