Who decides I need detaining?

The process usually starts because your GP, a family member, a police officer or psychiatrist is worried about your mental health. The decision is usually made (other than in an emergency) by two doctors and an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). One of the doctors must be specially certified as having particular experience in the assessment or treatment of mental illness. If possible, one of the doctors will already know you. The AMHP is usually a social worker, but could be a mental health nurse, psychologist or occupational therapist.

I can guarantee you that I win more than you do in the long term bigmart.
I have records that show my bets, and all the returns from them.
I know you don't, because you have repeatedly failed to produce them when asked.

You're a liar, a fantasist and an attention seeker. And all on this Forum know it.

You don't place the bets you claim to, you certainly don't win the amounts you claim to.

So all you're doing is posting utter nonsense on a Forum, where everyone thinks you're a tw@t.

So the question is WHY ?

Why make out you bet what you say you do - when all on this Forum know you don't
Why claim to have this game sussed, when clearly you are clueless
Why pretend you win money. When all on here know you're lying.

You're a pest, and a troll.
You ruin this Forum by your presence.
So don't wait to be banned again ( for life - 3 strikes and your gone )
Just FCK off.

Imagine the highlight of your day was waking up, turning on your laptop, opening up this forum and try impressing total strangers on a betting forum by posting childish lies for attention. Truly concerning and pathetic.

"I'm a manager and have people working for me". Did no one ever tell you that your football fantasy team isn't real life?

Genuinely get a life, school boy stuff.

Away from the arguments, your first post after mine from earlier seems to be having a pop at my financial advice:

bigmart 20 Jun 16 20:31
this place is full of financial advisers all advising me how to make money
take it every one of u has made millions mmm LaughLaugh
tell u what stick your advice where the sun don't shine

I'm not advising you how to make money at all, I am telling how you avoid to lose money. But as usual, you are right betting stupid amounts of a bank and I am wrong telling you no matter what, but the maths will kill you in the end. Whether or not you make 10k from this challenge or not, it will be a lot of short term luck that gets you there - that is a FACT because of your bank management.

But as I am in the wrong here and you are completely right, I/we can only assume that if you don't make it you are a clueless punter? That is going by your own thinking, because if you make it you want us to believe you are great.

It really is astounding how many losing NAPS that you put up on here that lose, but always manage to make a shed load with bets that you haven't put on here. It really is quite uncanny.

You have been back a couple of weeks and back to aftertiming constantly, and then have the audacity to tell people they are clueless and you win longterm.

Last point - if you are refusing to put up these so called bets that is your decision, so on that note will you refrain from putting anything else up in the future??

PS - any answer on my original question?

Accept the simple analogy of if you back a coin toss a million times at 11/10 who is the winner - the backer or layer? It IS all about price/value.

Or will the punter backing it twice per Saturday be better off?

why will a backer be far more likly to succeed doing 1 or 2 sel a day ?

1] it is highly un-likly should u find 5 good things that they will all run to form
a get the rub of the green in the same day
2] it is highly unlikly u will find these same 5 horses all like the ground conditions
3] it is far more likly that having spotted 5 potential winners at around 3/1
that u will get more than 2 winners so you lay out say 5 bets at 20 quid
= £100 u get 2 winners yet u only win £40 thats the same as backing a 4/5 shot
no one can win long term backing 4-6 horses a day you wd nned 3 winners to make it pay

Mart - you are talking utter nonsense and have no clue about value or price.

1] it is highly un-likly should u find 5 good things that they will all run to form
a get the rub of the green in the same day

You DO NOT need them all to run to form, you need to bet them at the right prices (that is all)

2] it is highly unlikly u will find these same 5 horses all like the ground conditions

Means absolutely nothing longterm, one day you could have 10 the next day none.

1/4, 3/1, or 20/1, it doesn't matter. The amount of bets you have short term is irrelevant if you bet them at the right prices. Longterm is the aim of the game and if you bet the right prices you will be in front, whether that is one bet per day or 20.

If you cannot get the answer to the coin analogy you are lost on here. So IF SOMEONE CAN BACK HEADS AT 11/10 IN A COIN TOSS 20 TIMES IN A DAY, EVERYDAY, OR BACK IT TWICE EVERYDAY WHO IS THE BIGGER WINNER LONGTERM???

magic its insulting thats why i never answered if you get 11/10 1 bet a day or a million u wd always win long term but at the odds of 11/10 the more bets u have each day the more likler u wd win
its an ev money chance so 11/10 every chance of weilding at least a 10 % profit
if the coin falls 50 % heads or tails but its irrelevant to what i am telling u

Right Mart - so can you not now see where your logic is completely flawed? It doesn't matter if you have one or 10 bets if you are getting the right prices.

You win money on a coin toss backing at 11/10 because it's an even money shot. The more time you back at 11/10 the more you win longterm, it doesn't matter if it is twice per day or 10 times per day. One day you can back 10 times and lose them all, it doesn't mean it is a bad bet and you have to look at the longterm gain.

If you know your onions and true prices regarding horses, and back something at 10/1 and it goes off 5/1, it doesn't matter if it gets beat. You know if you keep getting 10/1 on a 5/1 shot you win money longterm. If you can back the same things 20 times per day you will win more than the person who bets twice per day/week/month.

Therefore your comment of backing only 2 selections is better than betting 6 is nonsense. It's the price/value you get that counts and nothing else.

i agree value is the key , but ask any bookmaker they will all tell u they hate punters who back one sel a day and walk away

But you are talking about punters in a betting shop, generally means nothing. I have made a decent amount in last 8 months and have had over 600 bets (all recorded on a spreadsheet), sometimes days on end without a single bet and the next day I could have 12. If you think I am being a mug or cannot win betting 12 on one day you are completely wrong as I will be beating the price 10 or 11 times. Longterm value is what counts, not the amount of bets you have per day.

Mart - How am I testing you, I am stating how it is, but if you think I cannot grasp the fact a 2 horse backer will win more than someone who bets 5 per day you are correct (as it is complete bollocks), and with what I have typed in my previous posts, there is only one person out the 2 of us who hasn't got a clue. You beat the price longterm you win money longterm, if it's once per day or if it is 25 times per day, it doesn't matter THAT IS FACT.

Your FACTS that you put hold no water whatsoever, you have no reasoning whatsoever of why, yet I have given you the answers why it holds no water. Yet still you think you are correct - Stevie Wonder is looking in and got his head in his hands.

You come across as a typical betting shop punter who really needs to stay in the betting shop betting half his pot on one selection, yes you will have days when it all clicks, but the FACT is you will lose a hell of a lot more with your awful staking, and having no grasp whatsoever of basic maths and value when it comes to betting is a killer.

Will leave you to it as it is a pointless task trying to educate you, as you just seem unable to take a single thing on board because you think you are always right, and get it in your head that most things you state on here as fact are completely wrong.

england was not the best choice far too many changes from last game rarely works

Mart, if you thought that, what was the logic in backing them with £1000 at 4/6 halfway through the game ?

I appreciate it was not a real bet of course, i'm just curious why you would make that choice of bet.

Plenty of people willing to criticize and some helpful advice mixed in. I take the point about odds on the toss of a coin but the big difference is that we have no reliable measure of value on horse racing. I bet for fun and make a loss most years but it is a way of challenging myself and adding interest to watching sport. If I want to make a profit I invest in shares. Those who are able to accurately pick out the value bets deserve to win and I admire that ability. I find that most of my winning bets are from loyalty to individual horses, trainers and owners. Jockeys don't often influence my decision.

I think France will win to nil. Good luck  dont think magic quiet gets the law of probability
and how odds are stacked against him sel 5 good things in one day , various reasons all 5 get trouble free runs etc and having 5 horses rated as 5 star bets in same day most unlikely

as for facts probability comments is his only forte , i see one has already been removed by the mods he really should be removed , he forgets he is trolling stalking , attacking the thread creator
not making a single post regarding the point of the thread it mattered not if it was £10 to £100  he is a cyber bully makes up for the sad void in his sad life . sorry i do happen to place modest bets sorry to hit you with this fact , better staying of here your a disgrace , talk about me being banned look at your posts freak before you attack others on here as delta said long time ago a lost cause and very bitter man , venting his anger on others big prob of his , very sad !
