I don't know anybody on here, and never try to get involved on threads/arguments on here, but I feel the need to say something!
Either, 1. Big Mart is a wind up merchant, and very successful at it, or, 2. Big Mart has serious issues, and should probably be left alone. I will quickly try to point out what Magic Daps is saying Mart. You could have 1 bet a year, or a thousand bets a day, there is no guarantee that any will win, your 1 bet a year may win or lose, the thousand bets may win or lose. However, if each bet is a good bet, Ie, the odds that you get reflect a better return than the actual chance of the bet winning should return (Lets say the toss of a coin is completely 50/50, but you are given 11/10) - it makes sense that the more bets you make getting the same value would make more profit long term. So if you identify 2 horses a week where you can find value, but Magic identifies 5 a day with the same value, to level stakes he would make more money - as his value bet would get him profit more often. All this being said, I actually think it more likely that this is just a big wind up, it must be, because if you are a as good as maths as you suggest, you must realise there isn't a single system on roulette that could produce a long-term profit, unless its your roulette table. simple mathematics dictate that the odds given on roulette are 1/37th in the houses favour, every single bet on the board is in the houses favour to this extent, so your system is either a wind up, or you are the house? Anyways, I shall leave you all to it :) |

garychesterrrr - well put, but he still won't understand so don't expect any reply or just a simple "you're wrong", because in his mind if he don't understand it, it must be wrong. He actually compared himself to Einstein a couple of years ago, take of that what you will.
When everyone points out he is in the wrong it's miraculously a "fishing expedition", so now a few point out that the roulette is b0llocks that could well be the line. There may not be a reply soon as he disappeared as soon as his horse was stuffed - maybe off to the casino.... |

I met a Guy in a casino a few years ago and he reckoned he had a system that couldn't lose he had been in the casino for 13 hours and I inquired over his profit he

Mart, If I were you I would book a week in Vegas and go around every Casino using my system, but limit my winnings to half a million in each one so as not to draw attention.
Then I would come home and write the system down, get someone to sort out my bad spelling and advertise it in the Exchange and Mart for £5 a pop. |

not read it - of course you haven't. The bottom line is you may disagree with his post, but cannot type a reply to it on how exactly it doesn't work, because you and I both know you obviously don't understand it (or do understand and know he's correct).
i had one bet made a few quid yest as i will today with luck And of course you won yesterday with no mention of backing your bet each way, and you will certainly need luck with your staking and dart throwing. |
