How many of theirs achieve on track what they are capable of in first run or 2? You are basically guessing when the true potential will be shown, today may be the day or may not - but one thing for sure is it will be better than what it has actually achieved so far. That is half of the reason why it is short because only a select few actually know what it will do or at least try to do later imo, and many will be betting on potential rather than what it has achieved. You won't go far wrong staying well away from these races longterm imo.

 i think it it very very poor value at odds on myself no hard feelings magic people will always back that stable odds on shots and yes some they win like i say i dont rate its chances here , not went daft a few quid but we both dont like it today so have layed it , leave it back it lay it no one is telling anyone what to do here , have a nice day  |

If you know something nobody else does that is your edge and you would be laying it until the cows come home. But you are laying it "not going daft and just for a few quid" which suggests you know nothing more than anyone else. It may get well beat and in all honesty I am not fussed as have no view on most Irish races, or horses from a stable who frankly do what they want. I will stick to my own reasoning of why I won't touch them and longterm I know where I will be leaving them alone. But no need to come on and be condescending towards me because I have a different view on such a race. Good luck |

It's the 3.25 at Leopardstown. saddo is right that it would help if you gave the race marty but I am always willing to help out
 Large field of under-exposed maidens and this one is currently 10-11. I think it has clearly got the best form in the race but there are a few probable improvers including one of Weld's. Moreover AP has two others in the race one of which is ridden by Heffernan and is a very nicely bred newcomer. The fav is ridden by one of the daughters. You can never tell with O'Brien's riding arrangements of course though I wouldn't play in the race but maybe marty has inside info |

This is a very weak looking maiden imo. I personally wouldn't be laying this Fav, but im not with it either. 4th of 25 is a reasonable run in similar ground too.
This could absolutely hose up because of the unknown opposition. GL |

The fact that the Weld horse is relatively weak in the betting ( course form similar conditions 2nd start, long time off) , you just have the other O'Brien horse running for you..

for me re any of the O'Briens its a guess. if its a lay because of the price for me you would worry what beats it, on what it has done i couldnt fancy the Weld horse and the market isnt exactly singing for any of the others. he has also had a run which is a big plus in my book. good luck with it but fraught with danger imho
