Hello.Apologies for the on-going issue you seem to be having regarding getting logged out from the site. Our IT team are looking into this but if you could supply us with a few more details this would be great as it only appears to be affect a handful of customers currently. If you would be able to supply us with the following we will get it passed over to help resolve the issue ASAP. How many times are you roughly getting logged out within an hour period? The browser(s) the issue seems to be happening on? Is it just on Chrome? Where is your currently location? Can we also take your ISP? Is there a certain page(s) you tend to find this happens on over others? Can you also let us know what your Logout Preferences are set to? This can be found under the "My Security" settings: myaccount.betfair.com/accountdetails/mys...Apologies again for the current issue but these details should help our IT team get to the bottom of what is causing this issue. Thank you.

Not applicable. It only happens each and every time I watch a live video stream.

The browser(s) the issue seems to be happening on? Is it just on Chrome?

Only tried with Chrome. It doesn't happen using the video on Geeks Toy software though.

Where is your currently location?

Darlington

Can we also take your ISP?

No. It changes anyway. BT Internet.

Is there a certain page(s) you tend to find this happens on over others?

See above.

Can you also let us know what your Logout Preferences are set to?

4 hours.

I am having this problem regularly on both Chrome and Firefox. For example I make a placepot bet, then move on to the next meeting for another placepot to find that 10 mins later I am logged out. To get it working again I have to log out and back in again. And I have cleared my cache since the upgrade, so this isn't helping.

Also last night, I tried to place a bet on Sportsbook, but couldn't get anything to appear on my betting slip.

The site has serious problems. A bet matched on Gruss doesn't show up for many seconds even when the odds are refreshing every second. I get logged out sometimes and the market is refreshing normally but bets don't show. I couldn't reply to the forum as I wasn't logged in. Only clicking on 'create topic' seemed to solve that.

What worrying is that they told me last week they were working on a fix, which i thought implied they knew what the issue was. Now a week later they have satrted to collate info from affected users which implies that they are only beginning to investigate now.

The bets placed via Gruss showed up instantly on the old site.

I've been getting that as well John. Don't know if you're matched or not then all of a sudden you are.
Thought maybe gruss was sticky but the bets are going in fast enough just not showing up

Pointed out to them via email and conference call in July/August when the old site was being prepared for switch off. It is still happening.

BCS , this thread has been on here over 1 week, you should reply a bit quicker top problems imo .

if it's any help, when I log in on internet explorer , my balance shows as stars or something like that , if I then open "live video" it says not logged in .

if I click the refresh button next to my balance, my balance appears in full ( £2.09p ) and then Live video will work .

I have not had this problem for a few days

an interest fact: I have to login 5-10 or more times per hour, but the login-ip-list under "my security settings" in my account shows only 1 or 2 logins! that is very strange..

Not been able to post forum (apparently not looged on) all day but now all is well. Another variation. Most of problems I've had with log out scenario have been "fixed" by not opening multiple windows on Betfair so if you are having problems and have multiple windows (as opposed to tabs) you could try avoiding multiple windows.

Hi BCS,

I've been having the following issues sine October, and posted on the site feedback thread & also phoned a few times, with not much help. There certainly seems to be an issue with the site feedback forum, in that no one from Betfair reads it. Doesn't seem much point in having this particular forum, if no one from BF comes on and gives feedback.

1. Still get logged out of The Forum after a minute or 2 on my phone. (Iphone)

2. When I log in on my laptop, it won't accept my details at first attempt, and when I type in my password it isn't hidden on screen, which is far from ideal. (Google Chrome)

3.On my phone, I have to log on to my Sportsbook App to log into my exchange App, the Exchange App won't let me sign in on it's own.

4. No longer getting (1 new) notifications for new posts on the forum.

Any help/feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Each of these logouts should count as 500 points in the Cheltenham cash race. Fair compensation imo.

Thanks in advance.

It's unbelievable, after the information gathering exercise they have just come back with the same old caching issue....again.

I have just sent them this email.

Is this some kind of joke? All this has already been done......

I have updated my browsers to the latest versions and as I have stated previously I have
worked my way down all the "400 Bad Request error's" including clearing cookies, history, DNS cache and browser cache.

Another thing I took from the list of troubles on the 400 bad request's was.........

Contact the website directly that hosts the page. It's possible that the 400 Bad Request error actually isn't anything wrong on your end and it's something they need to fix, in which case letting them know about it would be very helpful.

The problem did start after the maintenance for me and at least these other 77 forum users. "being logged out every so often? willz  77  1,289"

This is to confirm that our engineers are working on this issue to fix it as soon as possible.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience that occurred.  We are working on it.

Have we just wasted over a week, is this the best you can come up with?

Why ask for people to give you the infomation, if all you are going do is to come up with the same old rubbish!

It all started after the maintenance......get your engineers to sort it!
