Stewards enquiry a race of time, stewards won't overturn anything. Can pretty much do what you want out there.

More chance of Gleneagles running today than British stewards swapping the result, no wonder Bondi Beach could not get past .

Runner up never stood a chance of getting past the winner with them bumps and being carried across. Should be given to Bondi Beach but this is british racing so no chance. Ridiculous.

Classic case of a moderate jockey panicking when a group 2 was at stake imo

Unless you pull out a gun and shoot the other jockey, nothing gets overturned in this country

Once you heard the words 'possible interference' from the stewards you knew the whole thing would be a farce. Did they not watch the race?
By:

When: 19 Aug 15 15:27
yes ..twice
By:
MJK
When: 19 Aug 15 15:30
So why say possible interference when they already knew there was interference. Twice.

It's all too silly for words. Imagine if international athletes and swimmers the world over were told that when you come to England there won't be lanes.

Thought Cosgrave came over as very dislikable in the enquiry

I think that result would have stood even under the old rules. The 2nd was heading across diagonally of his own accord. They raced on parallel lines, across the track, until the wunner bumped him, but it made little or no difference. If Joseph had had his whip in his left hand, it would have been a different story.

If that was a handicap or maiden on a normal Wednesday he would've straightened the horse and lost the race and not care. An utter cretin.
