Very amusing but I'm afraid they are the best available for those jobs at those salaries and are considerably better than the ones who aint there! (Balding, Plunkett etc.) I think they have improved their coverage markedly over the last month or two and should be given some credit for this. Why Fitz is there when it's flat racing I will never know, and why they do not criticise jockeys/trainers/owners when it is warranted is a puzzle (gravy train probable reason) but overall not perfect, but far better than it was imo.

No Claire is the only positive. But they really can and should be doing better than this.

'Trainers playing Cricket andrich pricks enjoying themselves at Goodwood Ball! Yeah, I really want to watch this! Utter garbage!'

Vomit inducing self indulgence. It was great to hear the the T total arabs were supplying the booze for the cricket. At least we had the most mind numbingly useless pundit in the history of horse racing to look smug about it.

Started playing chess online before last race on TV. Forgot all about it. Looked up to see Haggas being interviewed or what passes for an interview on C4.

All staff should be banned from asking the winning rider stupid questions like "what does it feel like" and what does it mean to win a race like this".
Of course it feels good,so why ask such a stupid question!!
And it should be an offence to ask about later rides when walking in on the winner.A lot more intelligence is needed from presenters, and less silly talk and smugness.

Hey RB Cool

When a trainer hits their straps and knocks in a big priced winner, I still think of your strategy!

A few of the DS crew knocking around the forum, LP was posting lately. I wonder if DFC ever found the holy grail he was searching for Grin

Still do it Cider but with modifications. Don't tend to bother with the exchange much these days. Prefer guaranteed odds in multiples. They were good days on here when liquidity was strong.

Good to see the jockeys walking into the course.  Someone said that they were teleported to the track from a big spaceship above Newmarket. [:excited.

i think they do a decent job covering the racing.

you can take or leave the pundits but their commitment to racing is second to none and
it would be even more of a minority sport without their coverage.

Don't showings of whatever dodgey film they stick on usually get more viewers than racing? If that is still the case then enjoy the last few months of it on 4!

Correct S

A black and white film gets more viewers on Ch4 than the racing and costs **** all, in years to come we will have to pay to watch racing and more and more people will drop off. You'll have more than MF to moan about then.

Feck me some of you have not even got half the brains that you were born with..

Channel4 have to produce so much sport under their licence agreement..

Horse Racing is the cheapest way to do it and to make sure that their quota of diversity and LGBT is fulfilled is to have the programme running live...

It is a no brainer for the Company.

Billy I still think that C4 will keep racing..

BBC TV are not interested they would rather have us believe that the thousands that are trying to storm Calais are all Doctors and Dentists when in the real World they would get a visa..

C4 have to keep the sport to meet diversity targets...

........only one thing that has killed horseracing........and will ensure it continues on its downward spiral generation after generation....

.......and that is the barmy system that rewards and incentivises losing with an eye on a future greater benefits.....

.......by not doing all you can to reach optimal performance in an event....

.......once a "sport" loses integrity.....it is on a slippery slope......

.......with each passing generation that is interested in sport......and the outcome of sports events...horse "racing" will be losing more and more of that generations interest....

.......until the accumulated dis-interest becomes terminal.!!
