it was more than likely that either gleneagles or golden horn will not run, so because of that it was a bad decision
other option would of been back the 1st race in £10 each way singles then pick a suitable race on the day after |

I aint no Hibby weegie! Never been to a football match in my life (68 years) and yes , discipline is the most important factor when betting seriously. Heres my bets for today ( just for fun as Im connected to a yard thats in the doldrums at the moment.

There is no such thing as luck!! Its all down to hard work, believing in your own ability, admitting when you get it wrong and yes...discipline.
 Im in front today (see previous selections) so will switch off soon and try and find some late afternoon shade here in Agios Tychonas. Might drive up Troodos to escape this infernal heat! |

Found ...won 8/13 Florencio and My Best Son 1st and 2nd @5/4 and 11/4. Tour de Force won 11/4 just waiting on Zaaneh and Shasag in 3 50 for another profitable day. If it was as easy as just selecting a couple of soft maiden races a day we would all be millionaires.  |

sunny, as anyone knows a profit from a seller is the same as a profit from a group 1. i havent been backing pp selections as i prefer
to back my own judgement, but he seems to be going alright at the moment. fair play too him. |

50 points can be pennies pounds or euros . It is irrelevant and to answer roida I can bet in a bookies shop in Limassol just like UK or use an online account with Billys, Ladcrooks or Carols . Im not a big hitter so have no problem getting on.

Pennies, pounds or euros are irrelevant, the amount of points bet are very relevant. If my/your usual stake was a tenner, then you'd be betting £200 on Found, not many people would bet 20 points on a race.

Ok , looks like many on here just want to slag off a successful player .As this thread is only for fun I really don't mind , However today I advised ,
20 points on Found @ 4/6 won. 10 points on Tour de Ville @ 5/2 won @11/4 4 x 25 point e/w doubles Florencio and My Best Son . 1st and 2nd 5/4 and 11/4 coupled with Shasag won 4/1 and Zaaneh ( Beat) Without going into detail that's a profit of roughly 265 points ( Im sure someone will correct me but its 32 degrees and its nearly 8 o clock and Ive been on the Mythos ! |

Some years ago the last time I was in Cyprus staying in Larnaca I could not get a bet on British racing. I only saw one betting shop. He said that he did not take bets on British racing. Do they all take bets on it now? |

PP the quickest way to break a golden egg is to broadcast that you have one.

Over the many years I've been in this game I've seen and heard so many wiseguys talk of their "systems". They all went skint. Hard work and research is the key to regular winning . Human nature in the form of laziness and greed are the shortcuts to the poorhouse.  |
