pp........someone said your first thread ended in tears but i had a look and you were in profit........but in the first thread you did have varying stakes.........why the change??
|
|
By:
I changed just for simplicity, people saying you couldn't get on. Well you can get on, I get on and do £25 units going to 3-5 shops not all bog because the early price overrules that in my experience - better to have 7/1 than 6/1 BOG 95% of the time in these races. I tend to do all the short doubles on one slip with the bigger prices on several slips to keep the stakes on the slips low and the payouts under £150. But never been refused in three years

pennypincher - As I posted on page 1
onlooker 24 Jul 15 13:25 PennyPincher - Surely you are just backing them by the BETTING FORECAST prices - and not, also, from assiduous Form Study. ------------- As indicated by your bet at the two Irish meetings last night - - most especially the last race at Leopardstown - where NOTHING else in the race bar the FAV - who itself was dropping back 2 furlongs - had ANY substance to their chances whatsoever - as was proven by the outcome, with the other two finishing 5th and last of 7 - a NON-Runner reducing that race to just Two places, aswell. Not really a good choice of bet/race of your, otherwise, successful operation, so far. |
|
By:
Onlooker Im sure there are other examples that wouldn't fit a form choice but have made profits. NRs happen and can cost as has been proven but again you wouldn't have the other winning bets if you avoided 8/5 runner races. Selections are based more on the place market than the win market as that's where most of the money ends up.
|
|
By:
Onlooker.
Many years ago , I had some success with mixed doubles from 2 races, purely by backing 2nd and 3rd SP F/cast selections from a Daily newspaper. Races chosen were from Principal Mtg of the day. Didn't make any sense, but having back studied results for a 12 month period, it made a profit ! ![]() |

PP .... Is there any reason you never bother with the international races? Usually the main meets from
France and South Africa are priced ... todays Greyville 12.20 is a great example of skanky ew! |
|
By:
dont think you can get early bog prices on them maybe 1st show or at worse sp

I do use SA occasionally but have to be exceptional due to very poor prices

Great stuff PP. Keep it going, not sure I like the shape of the 2.00 Ripon race though.
