I'd be worried about him coming down the hill and the camber up the straight as well as the likely faster ground....changed his legs a few times in the home straight today.

to win a handicap off 85 like that you have to be 110-114, he only has another stone to find to win the Derby and Arc Crazy

just think gosden will take him king edward route then the voltiguer followed by arc by timing might be slightly wrong, not a total expert but i think mentally epsom won't be gd for him

I am no flat expert but it just didnt seem totally straightforward .. and it seemed physically big .. sure once it got going it ploughed on but it will be caught for speed in the derby .. i want be backing it in the derby but as another poster said the arc or even the triumph . i dont think its that inteligent.

that was my point..just think gosden will take him king edward route then the voltiguer followed by arc by timing might be slightly wrong, not a total expert but i think mentally epsom won't be gd for him. arc horse with that breeding will be better later in the season and even better as a 4yo

and beat what, see plenty of nags bolting up on a daily basis. Whether he won by a length or 20 lengths, all he is is a class 3 handicapper so far....16s for the Derby is mental imho

You can - or, rather, would HAVE to say THAT - about EVERY horse that is going to run in the Derby. Happy
