He was actually the last of my Favourites left in training . To be even running at 9 now after an awesome career seems so have been unfair . A sad end to an absolute legend of a horse. Real shame. |

Seems to have been a bit of a low draw bias on the straight turf track this year when the opposite has been the case in previous years.
Not a lot of pace around Caspian Prince in stall 1 either. Good chance to slip them again I think. |

Stepper Point is overpriced. Of the European horses its form is as good as any.
There is so much pace in the race its untrue i can only envisage a complete burn up and something coming from off the pace. Sir Maximillian ew for me. |

Sent into an early lead in a G2 over 2410m here earlier in the month, and he kept galloping on well enough when swamped by rivals, beaten just 3 lengths. He formerly raced at the top level in Argentina but like others here he has a major stamina question against his name for this demanding test. But for me @ 14 to place and 46 for the win gl. |

Just had a 24/1 eachway treble...
Salutos Amigos in the Golden Shaheen - Been in awesome form out in New York. Looks to have take a step forward this year and I'd expect him to power past this lot. California Chrome in the World Cup - Everyone's talking up Lea but I dunno...suspect the Chrome will be a bit too strong. Ertijaal in the SA Classic @ Turffontein - Hamdan owned son of Hard Spun, undefeated in his career won the Cape Derby nicely last time out. This is actually Mike De Kock's most important runner today. Stays unbeat and continues his march to the Durban July and hopefully this time next year he'll be lining up in the World Cup itself. 24/1 aint bad. |
