Extract in the Mirror:

What it's like to lose £2.5million on ONE GAME - Harry Findlay reveals all about "the bet of a lifetime"
New Zealand rolled into the 2007 Rugby World Cup as favourites and Findlay had backed them heavily

Dated yesterday online, so it might be in today's print edition.

The advert at the bottom says ebook available, though Amazon lists no kindle version (but the print edition is back in stock).

Amazon is out of stock again, and back to full cover price. No sign yet of the kindle edition I am waiting for.

Is this book the punting equivalent of Fifty Shades of Grey, snapped up now before flooding into the charity shops (and racecourse bookstalls) in a few months time?

good luck to him

definitely a character of which the game needs more of .

not many threads have 100 times the view count to posts , so people must be intrigued by him

Must be desperate if it has come to sucking up to Steedman.

Don't get him started on pensions. No part of him approves of putting money away on the off-chance you might see it with knobs on at the age of 65. "I mean, you've got to live to be 65 anyway, and that's only an 8-13 chance.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Amazon has made the mistake of not linking the hardback and kindle editions, which is why I missed it.

The hardback edition has attracted a critical review, whereas the kindle version has two 5-star jobs.

The kindle version has a preview ("look inside") which the hardback does not.

don't think you need the book to tell you roger Federer at 16 to 1 on or the all blacks at 20 to 1 on should win,but a spare 200 grand to make it worth your while might be a problem, remortaging your house or going bankrupt to fund the bet means a visit to the priory for most people not a visit to ladbrookes, LaughLaugh

I don't know why he never started a tipping line to give out these 1/16, 1/20 shots. It would have helped him get back on his feet quicker.

What? And ruin the price? Before you know it, they'd be 1/25 shots. Plain

Lighten up mouse, we all know that reading this type of book is not necessarily going
to make you a better punter!, it's not listed as a " self help " book from what i can see.
I think Harry is like Marmite.. and i AM taking 10/11 you don't like Marmite.

But he wouldn't give out the info before he'd taken the top prices himself
