being funny requires a certain intelligence, I'm sure all those who are that way know this. It seems everyone else knows it too - but the not-funny people on here, clearly have no idea at all that they do not posess that intelligence.  Which is quite funny.

Seriously though,he's prob some poor old bloke who goes in for a warm in wintertime or wants a bit of company.
And they have tried to make themselves look big by doing this filthy act to the poor bloke. Sad tw@ts Sad

That some of the customers were in on the "joke" is not encouraging.

One hopes the victim was compensated with more than a free go on a FOBT.

Amazing what passes for humour these days. Good riddance to the lot of them.

Has it made the national press? William Hill deserve every bit of bad publicity that might come their way.

Have they sought out the customer and done anything in terms of compensation? Perhaps Ivan-Duke can cook him a meal for the next 365 days?

I had much the same thoughts as Greg_Gory

Some poor sod like that is probably the only type they can bully, which says a lot about them. If he'd been a relative of mine I'd have gone and kicked their c&&ts in for being such a-holes.  Angry

Seems like a typical case of someone not happy in their job, which is understandable for bookies' staff, so much in the same way as some bus drivers seem to close doors and pull away when they see passengers running for the bus as if it's the only sense of power and enjoyment they get form their job, these bookie staff seemed to think if they could belittle someone else then they could somehow feel a bit better about themselves.

Obviously I don't know how much of an active part any junior members will have played and maybe the CCTV might answer that, but if they were some spotty faced kid young enough to be the manager's son or straight from college young girl who had a choice of bookies counter or Tesco till, then they might not have thought reporting a more senior member of staff was the percentage call here.

if i was the victim of this i would be plotting my revenge.........if i saw them in a new job i would be telling their employers.......i would do plenty more.............getting the other staff in on the choke was cruel. why do such a thing?

Ar**holes deserve the sack nothing funny about that maybe someone will report them to the welfare when they go to pick up their benefits so that will be stopped as well so they can know what its like to be vulnerable.

6-month ineligibilty for benefits if you get sacked or leave job voluntarily.  They'll be hungry enough for Dogmeat pies themselves after a month or two.   Which would be richly ironic were it to happen.
