I don’t use their sportsbook as a rule because when I do look at it the prices aren’t good enough. Is it just me or is this pretty much the norm???
i.e today I fancy Maid in Rio at 19:35 Newmarket and the prices I’ve seen available are as follows :- BF sportsbook 2.87 BF Exchange 3.00 Bet365 3.00 BetVictor 3.00 Plus various other bookies are offering 3.00 , so do I use the BF Sportsbook ? Nahhhhhhhh |

Not relevant to the main point of this thread, but for anyone thinking the Lucky15 wasn't a mug bet, read on...
After 9 days, staking the full £150 per day (even with the oh so generous 'double your odds' offer) Frog is losing £92. Use that same £150 per day to have 4 level stake win bets (£37.50 each) and he'd be £318.00 up by now. PS - good work Frog. |

Interesting point fairweather. I do not think best odds guaranteed is a sustainable offer. Having it taken away annoys serious racing punters that the racing industry needs to keep.
If a punter is getting value on singles then in theory he should be getting even greater value on multiples. The issue is when/if all four selections come in. Yesterday if the odds were completely fair 6.5, 6.5, 7, 6 will all win once every 1774 days. If they were 'wrong' and should all be a point less 5.5 5.5 6 and 5 they would only win once every 907 days. If they all have a bookmakers margin of 1 point e.g. fair value is 7.5 7.5 7 and 7 they all win once every 2830 days. Impossible to tell after ten days. Laying Lucky 15s is like picking up penny pieces infront of a slow moving steamroller. Every money most of the time but one day you might be crushed. |

the only attraction of the bf sportsboook is the guaranteed prices on multiples.short or not your gonna get sp if your bet comes in...otherwise stay away is the advice..they have no guaranteed prices now on irish racing.they brought in a thing instead called pricecrash..a con of all cons!!

They offered me something like 42p for the lucky 15... but they wouldn't even take that after I placed single bets on the selections (which were also limited to a few quid; can't tell you how much since the stupid site is still down

Weird is it not? First thing I would have done if I was involved in the Betfair Sportsbook is to link it to the Betfair exchange API to stop arbs/hedge into the exchange.
