just think irving has too much natural speed for this track , all about stamina |
|
By:
but mum stayed all day if he has inherited the dams stamina cd stay , just think irving makes some silly mystakes ,does not look a natural , am not having a bet in this race its a minefield
|

Looks like this one might start fav, and that's a negative on the trends. It's also French bred - another negative.
Given that, I'd be happy enough to lay it. Hopefully it'll shorten up a bit more tomorrow. |
|
By:
this opening race a bookmakers benevolent fund platini rather be a layer than a backer in this race irish have a great record in it , irving the lay bet for me ,
|
|
By:
one of you can lay irving and another of you can back irving - what does it matter??? it's just one opinion against another
when I give a LAY it is a fact that a horse cannot win, not just an opinion - so irving wins, irving doesn't win, who cares? someone will be right and someone will be wrong! all that really matters is VAUTOUR must not win, can not win and will not win!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it does not bother me what wins this race, roll on bet number two at 1.55pm |
|
By:
not so sure about that but best off luck , grave

Aaaaah it's the return of the twaat and his sophisticated betting advice. Yes that's right be intelligent and lay your entire bank on one bet because this clown's lays never lose...but that's not strictly true now is it? Anyone care to bring up previous years when banks were wiped out by lays that dared to win?

be interested too know why he thinks it cant win , very very strong form , stable good form . if its cause its french bred ? well stats their to be broken , some very good french horses hors la loi a house hold name and they say at least a doz better than her at home , feel the french have a very strong crop off hurdlers, and they are 6 months a head maturing because off the climate ! don't have too answer but just interested to get and insite as too how you came to the conclusion the horse has no chance
it got the look off an outsider in this race but on form think it is the best horse . but only a complete loony wd risk a big bet in this , if u gonna win big have too be a lay bet , think your tactics are correct in doing a lay, just wandering why this fellow tar ![]() |

By:
Mart, Irving looked all over a stayer on the flat in germany, looks to have plenty of speed as well.... everything you need for a track like this.
Vautour got the run of the race last time, or rather the 2nd was caught napping...is the form that strong? which ever way you look at it, its a cracking opening to the festival |
|
By:
I've got it between Irving, vautour and vantieux, nothing wrong with this lay (apart from entire bank)sp in the last ten years is around the 10/1 mark so very good race to take the market leaders on.
|
|
By:
Good luck Grave, I am joining in but with 500 not 5k, not sure I will be brave enough to last out but good luck. Agree first race has been a nightmare for fancied horses big field with plenty running for you.

bally, there are only 3 years available now but he didn't have a great record on the old forum either
2011 captain cee bee full bank lost place laying it, 2012 he made it (although at least two went skin close), 2013 2 bets lost on day two think(never showed up on day one) plenty of people were saying he is not the original grave dodger and given they were people that had some posting integrity you would have to question whether it is the original bloke the other thing to bear in mind was that pretty much none of the bets were real, certainly some of the place lays couldn't possibly be verified given the volumes matched (on any exchange) so anyone following his advice needs to tread carefully that said it's funny when it goes balls up, the cpt cb moment is something quite special |

Nuff said. Just laugh at the guy and all his sheep.

Probably thinks an ew 9-4 2nd is a winner as I have heard one alleged firm think

elise - don't be a silly person, saying he is lucky when he gets it right and not unlucky when it goes wrong - even if you take 1 winning year and 2 losing years as your sample size, the 25k win outweighs the 2x5k losses
comic - welcome aboard, the key is that you start with an amount that you are prepared to lose, and then you don't need to be brave and it will be a happy result if we do it koi - nice to have you tuning in, I hope we are safe withteh 30k well before the foxhunters on Friday! Carla - of course a lay should be a whole bank - if you are not sure whether a horse will lose then don't lay it all !!! u r wrong to say there are only 3 runners too, it looks wide open this year bigmart - the reasons are never based on form, or ground, or breeding, and I prefer not to give reasons on here to protect the innocent, as they say, but I do agree with u that vautour does SEEM to be the best horse in the race by some way |
|
By:
Everytime I see your name I think Missed That CANNOT WIN THE BUMPER
Aaaah my 14-1 ante post strolled in and erm where did you go? ![]() |
|
By:
I never said there were only 3 runners that's all I would back in this race, I've gone for one vantieux and yes I still stand by ITS STUPID LAYING ANY HORSE FOR YOUR ENTIRE BANK.
|
|
By:
completely stupid.
|
|
By:
And anyway your not laying, your just backing a 1/4.

By:
and gravedodger, firstly it's more like 1 in 10 rather than 1 in 3 (prove your pre 2011 years please) and secondly it's only 25k profit if you actually bet and this forum has established pretty much every year you talk cack
frankly i hope you win because there will be plenty of lemmings that believe your garbage, so for their sake not your gl |

is it possible in 2014 that some parties still succeed in "getting at" some of these NH stars iyo?
|
|
By:
well roger, willie mullins believe so (allegedly), but that is nothing to do with my lays
the fact is that whatever the "form" of any horse, sometimes they are just not right on the day for whatever reason and then that is the time to LAY, LAY , LAY!!!!!!!!! |

By:
good luck gravedodger

PS In 2013 I did not operate this due to time constraints. In 2012 the £30k was reached long before the Gold Cup!! elise • March 9, 2014 4:08 PM GMT you wouldn't have seen much of last years, he lost 5k in two bets and vanished, so there's one lie for starters Celtic Son • March 9, 2014 6:21 PM GMT Same cobblers every year. Flukes a win once every decade and quickly forgets the massive losses he racks up. Utter moron of a man. Ballydoyle • March 11, 2014 7:09 AM GMT Aaaaah it's the return of the twaat and his sophisticated betting advice. Anyone care to bring up previous years when banks were wiped out by lays that dared to win? Grave dodger you tw@t You DID do this challenge in 2013 You seem to have a very selective memory, as elise stated you busto after 2 races in 2013 You have not got anywhere near 8 out of 11 years. It is fortunate for you that the forum archives are not searchable. While I realise that you desperately crave attention, please spare us your bare-faced lies. Face up to the fact that you are merely a pin-sticker. |
