McCracken obviously has some friends on here.
Funny that as whether he is guilty or not in this case he was warned off in 2004.
Anybody putting bets on here for him ?

An expected 4 weeks for this case
since Mclean has patently been lying this is a farce, it should be thrown out now
nobody pays £10,000 for horse racing tips, he was paying to be in on race fixing
it never took place or he was not told tough

he is a bigger villain as McCracken

All fraudsters and that includes the bankers should be put away preferably in a Russian nick until the full sum+ is payed back, there wouldn,t be so much of it doing it,s rounds.

Ebulgery ...... "no one pays £10k for horse racing tips"

Remember that Welsh building society agent a few years ago, was filching the client's deposits and took the BS for £10m, only found out when he left the keys and an IOU for said £m in the safe ....... he was prepared to pay £100k+ for tips and be part of the action ...... some won, some lost but he was desperate to bet himself out of trouble ....... wasn't satisfied with a 10/10 cert, he wanted to be "The Big Man" in racing, but could only do it with other peoples hard earned ...... he is typical of people who subscribe to these schemes, greedy wanna be's who try any get rich quick promotion for nothing promise.
At the moment, there are numerous fraudulent investment schemes, for Wine, Land Development plots (that haven't a hope in hell of getting planning permission) and the new kid on the block, Carbon Credits. Despite the well published warnings and bad publicity, they still thrive, mugs are still falling over themselves to subscribe to these "boiler room" scams ...... there are mailing lists of "punters" sold throughout the industry and 9/10 they still bite. By the time Trading Standards have caught up, they are on their toes with another company name and virtual address ...... as a previous poster put it: "Caveat Emptor" ...... but there is one born every minute.

Saddo ...... surprisingly enough these mugs can't wait to bleat to the media and anyone else that will listen, they not only get turned over once, they go back again for the next get rich quick scheme. When it goes teats up, they wan't you to feel sorry for them....... DevilWinkWink

What surprises me is that the press are allowed to describe a 50 year old benefit claimant with 25k to waste as a 'pensioner'. Sells more papers I suppose.

Just because there are idiots in the world it doesn't mean some c*nt should be allowed to scam money off them.

I would agree with that, but when 'victims' are shown to be less than honest one has to wonder.

Saddo ....... that bit really got me ...... overnight I have become a "Pensioner" .......... had trouble sleeping last night ...... can't get my bus pass until I'm 65.
Just shows how the media put a slant on these reports, ........ lets see how they go in Round 3 today ....... so far JMcC won the first 2 on my card ........ another fiasco like yesterday and it is 1.01 the ref will stop it ......... DevilWinkWink

There is someone in a BANK near you  ......... ready to rip you off right now ...... case proved !!
High street robbery ........ and no-one nicked or inside so far.
And all us customers are now paying with increased charges and interest rates ......

And who's jumping on the bandwagon? ........ scammers who will fight your case and take the majority of the claim made by the financially unwashed  ...... it is a jungle, nobody is safe....... survival of the shrewdest .........DevilWinkWink

The whole nation will be paying back the banker's 'losses' for at least ten years if not longer, still, mustn't grumble.

A capitalist society is all about people trying to flog you stuff some of which is bound to be dodgy. That particularly applies to intangibles such as financial services ( in which you can include McCracken and his like ) but at least with a bank if you get a loan then though the interest rate may be a rip-off you do usually get the loan. What is being alleged here is that this non-pensioner put down his money and got nothing in return. If it's true I don't think it's quite the same.

I agree saddo and this is why we appear to be in murky waters. Purely hypothetically, and absolutely nothing to do with this case,if you pay a drug-dealer £10k for a banned substance and it turns out to be salt is that fraud ? Tbh I don't know.

why would they not give him some bets if he had paid 10k it don't make sense its also clouding the matter that lays were all or some of the bets now if the guy didnt like lays or know what they were he didn't get anything that he could bet on so didn't get anything for his 10k when really maybe he did ?

Whatever the ins and outs of this case are, it seems to me that he went there to intent on scamming 10 large from whoever he met.

I doubt he would have bothered about the age or sex of whoever turned up.

Preying on the weak ,vulnerable and needy. The lowest of the low.
Would be happy to see him flogged in public.
