Wouldnt right off DOW if Stickels has cocked up the ground....
Biggest defeat of his career on good to firm is hardly surprising considering his best form so far has been on softer turf and synthetics....won on soft, heavy, polytrack and fibresand....romped home in the fibresand too. |

After DWC.
Animal Kingdom is now expected to take his chance at Royal Ascot, with the Prince of Wales's Stakes the likely target. Coral make the son of Leroidesanimaux a 5-1 chance to win any race at the showpiece fixture. |

A.K. Had his first run on Turf after a 4 month lay off,Btn a Head and not a great ride from R.Maragh.
Won on Turf 8 1/2F, from a bad bunch-came from last to challenge at the 6 1/2F Pole. Breeders Cup 8 F Turf, "8th and trapped in pocket on rail from under 2f out, gap appeared approaching final 110yds, quickened well between horses to grab second close home, never on terms with winner" not a great ride from R.Bejerano. The winner - Wise Dan has Won 11 from his last 13 and 6 were Grade 1 races. Gulfstream Turf 9 F, "Held up in touch in last pair, rapid headway to dispute lead over 4f out, ridden to lead on turn into straight, strongly pressed and headed entering final furlong, kept on but readily held by winner" not a great ride from J.Rosario. The winner - Point of Entry has Won 7 from his last 8 and 5 were Grade 1 races. When A.K. Won The Kentucky Derby 10 F, he came from Tenth position, When he was Btn 1/2L in the Preaknes 10 F, he also came from Tenth Position. He does Not need to be held up so far,in fact on Turf,he has had the pace to be disputing the lead at the 6 - 7 F Pole. |

The reality is, he beat your "superstar" easily in the BC when Excelebration was in peak fitness. Excelebration run of the race, AK held up for a run and stormed past like he was standing still.
He has lengths on that horse. Considering most of you consider him one of the best milers the world has seen in years, second only to Frankel, there is no argument in the world that would have you lot letting him start at over 1.20.... For the sake of your whole ratings system, he really needs to win by around 10 lengths. Personally, I would take anything over about 1.80 over this mob. |
|
By:
Expect it too win at least 5lenths and maybe more?,ratings between 133-140 who knows, but a cert in my book. Thanks layers!

where would animal kingdoms opponents finish in the breeders cup mile last november? i think trying to answer that Q explains his even money price. he is running against nothing..........maybe elusive katie might get within 2 lengths of him. thats about it.
