If Godolphin were pissed off before today you can guarantee they are doubly pissed off Post Balding. Her question was so ignorant and stupid that it was almost beyond belief.
Would she have asked Sir HRA how he felt his driving bans affected his training ability or if his illness affected his daily life straight after Frankels guineas win? Actually she probably would have. If Sheikh Mo decides to relocate his whole UK operation then fair to say that her legacy will be the part she played in pissing him off,the Aga was a big loss.............say no more. |

GT-MOLE........I agree with your comments about Sheikh Mo packing it in in the UK.Massive loss of income to Channel 4 will be the least of the problems, not to mention loss of jobs and empty yards in Newmarket etc etc etc.Wonder if the Fat C*w will be smug and smiling then

Heaven forbid we pish off Shake Mo........Just keep our gob shut and keep slurping the gravy.

Acey...........the gravy brought to mind a great and worthy challenge for you this year.
Name your Hennessy winner in the next couple of days,if you are wrong the upside is we could have your arse in Waitrose window before Hestons creation whatever it might be? ![]() ![]() |

I thought it quite ironic that Clare pre-empted Sheikh Mo accepting the previous declined interview, on the back of his success.
And quite naive of Mo to presume it would be a limited to back slapping and smoke blowing. She quite rightly took her chance to question the Organ Grinder after the naughty monkey had been forced off into the sunset with his tail between his legs. I somewhat agree that the microphone is getting shoved under the chin far too often nowadays, but this was a national news story that made the front pages - so any self respecting journalist (or production company) is going to try and get the scoop. As someone pointed out earlier on this thread, Mo had a chance to dissociate himself from the whole affair by interviewing prior to the 2000 guineas. It's not an implication of guilt or a reflection of his integrity to be asked a few questions about a part of his business that he had little control over. So why be so precious. |
|
By:
What scoop would that be doantwin?
First to humiliate him? First to be judge and jury on live TV? Btw has he been accused of anything..............or is he as I see it a material witness in an ongoing investigation? Since when did anyone have the right to question a witness other than the investigating authority in the UK? |
|
By:
GT, why would it be humiliating him? Because he has a title?
I don't think Clare has an persecutory agenda other than to get the thoughts of a member of a royal family that has been caught up in a scandal - and be the first to get it straight from the horses mouth. As for being a witness in an ongoing case i am not sure about that. As far as I was aware this isn't morphing into a criminal case, and Mo wouldn't be saying anything that wildly differed from his public statement. |
|
By:
The point I am making is that an investigation is ongoing and he is assisting the BHA within it.Nothing to do with his status.............you cant just go sticking microphones up peoples snouts and asking such questions.
Matters not if it was a criminal case or not, there are ground rules and etiquette not to mention basic respect to be observed regardless of who is on the receiving end. CH4 should have known better than to promise SM that no questions would be asked and the renege on that, whether CB took it upon herself to try is the crucial question. If she did then she negates all the bollox she has been spouting in interviews,magazines.........her book etc about he association with the Royal Family etc. In short if she did it off her own back.............every single word she has sold is a lie. |
|
By:
Know where you are coming from GT but for a man that seems to have diplomacy in abundance, I am suprised he didn't therefore explain the situation re the BHA and the restrictions imposed on him as a result of the ongoing investigations.
Although I accept the media frenzy that has ensued from Zarooni's actions probably is a little unsettling, it would have been a chance to dissociate himself from it all. Ultimately it's all under his umbrella, and people would like to hear what he has to say about it. |
|
By:
I get most peoples take on it all Doantwin.I just cannot fathom the mentality of those who would condone a camera crew bursting into a trial half way through..............broadcasting worldwide and asking the accused how he/she felt their trial was going.............worse today was that the implication was that SM was that accused.
As shocking as the Zarooni case is............not one single person is guilty other than him so far as we all know.Guilt by association? That is what Balding tried to inflict on SM despite him not being accused by the BHA of personal involvement.Even an invasion of Lesbian animal rights crowd could not have tarnished HQs biggest race of the season more. SHE dont forget is the one who complained about a journalist calling her a Di** On A Bike. |

Claire spotted the Goatee beard and mistook it for something else and jumped right in...
Disgusting attempt to talk to someone who has done so much for this Country and try and run him down.Mistakes have been made and I am sure that other yards may have done the same.... It will be sorted and I just hope that Sheik Mo retains his interest in this Country.... |

How many wives does the man have? He has at least 23 children..
The man is a stallion in his own right, women are useless unless they are on duty for him. His disrespect for CB must be pretty high. |
|
By:
But that is how it is in Dubai...
Envy is no shame... But at least he can pay for them unlike in this Country.... |

It will be sorted and I just hope that Sheik Mo retains his interest in this Country....
British and Irish racing is where it's at, he won't be going anywhere imo. |

For a man who runs a country his inability to evade a question which he must have expected shows he is not a democratic ruler.
Nice to see homefortea slurping away as ever btw. |

By:
You are a complete loser salmon spray..
Some Countries can embrace Democracy.... Others cannot. You must be one of those half-wits that support Democracy in places in the Middle East .. Good on you fella - Syria and Libya are two such places where you have been so successful.. In fact I would send people such as yourself to live on the West Bank... UKIP has never had it so good.I just wish that I lived in the UK and would take any seat on a landslide... |

Salmon , the questions need to be asked but what she did was humiliate him at peak viewing time and it was ugly viewing
Surely even the doping scandal took a backseat for one day after the horses performance , what she did was cheapen everything to her standard the winner was forgotten |
|
By:
I'll agree to disagree with you hello. My feeling is the guy is so arrogant that he expected somebody like homefortea to slurp all over him and was totally taken aback when a WOMAN asked him a question he didn't like.
