BUCKSTRUTHER

This should only involve three on recent form....

BUCKSTRUTHER, SACRED MOUNTAIN & SENOR ALCO.

There is no denying the Hunter Chase form of SACRED MOUNTAIN around its favourite track, which is the best form on offer here,  but the ground today will be too quick for it  imo, all its  form has been with plenty of cut....but it does stay, has to give weight all round here.....

BUCKSTRUTHER
on the other hand will relish the ground,......its a good jumper & stays...... its P2P form is solid .

The form says its won its last 5 P2Ps… but it finished 2nd  three runs back , beaten 1L by  AMICELLI after a head to head battle on the final circuit… but AMICELLI weighed in 5LB light….( Everything was still intact when the horse finished) & was disqualified….. SEE YOU THERE promoted to 2nd.... its P2P form is solid !!

It ran in a Hunter at Musselburgh  2 runs back, a race which it won, looking to have too much to do against "The Wifes Pet" who was nearly a fence clear at one point, but stayed on dourly  ........the trip was too short  (20f) & the ground was soft   ( given as good on the morning) ...nothing suited BUCKSTRUTHER that day but  still managed to win.
Last time, it won a P2P over 3m beating Tommysteel  ( won this Kelso  race last year) & Moon Over Miami .....the time was quick & has ran mostly good times in all its Points.....has also won at Kelso & looks to have everything going for it here....

Jamie Hamilton who is only 18 takes the ride, he has rode it in its last 6 wins.

SENOR ALCO
Victor Thompson runs 4 in this, (won it with Tommysteel last year) & SENOR ALCO looks to be the best of his.
It has finished 2nd the last 5 times.....being beaten by OSCARINA twice, which at a glance looks good form, but SA is one paced & gets out paced......although the form figures read 5 2nds, it has been well beat & needs to improve to win this even though it gets the weight.

If it stays dry then    BUCKSTRUTHER will be very hard to beat......has no negatives in this imo.

Noticed the non-runner.  Probably the ground too quick as you stated koi.  Buckstruther looks banker material now.

senor alco at the prices could run a big race today, has scope for improvement, only a 7 year old
excellent bloodlines dom alco progeny have won a grand national, trainer won race last year, same
jockey on board, well beaten LTO on heavy ground by zaru RPR 135. good ground today. good write up
as usual. goodluck

Sportingbet still 5/1 on senor alco and that will have the e/w thieves drooling given the shape of this race now.

Bucksruthers jockey needs to take a course in trigonometry. He went miles further than most others.

Except when he tried to come up teh inside on the turn when making ground, lost all momentum

Enjoy your write ups but from now on I`ll be laying your selections rather than betting them again. 3 shorties bet past week or so, all well beat. Sad

He also got cut off at a vital point , by trying to go up the inside , not saying it was the difference between winning and losing but it stopped his momentum at a point were he had made rapid progress...

Don't know where the winner's improvement came from.  Been beaten a total of 158 lengths on it's completed starts under rules.

the first 2 circuits didnt help there, he was 4 wide on the bends losing so much ground.

I agree with arklearkle , Dont mind the knockers koi , I dont often back in h/chases but i take note of what you put up , and the effort you make , If more on here did their homework , and did less mouthing off , they'ed be better off financially ..Keep up the good work koikeeper...

???

I was on at 13/8...best horse in the race on form...

You said Senor alco was beaten on heavy ground last time, when it was beat on good ground.....its one paced & form wasnt strong...so wasnt worrried about that.
it was the one that was no value!

Wee eck.....did you find it any more profitable backing Richard Guest information?????
By:

When: 29 Apr 13 17:38
5/1 was much better prospect than your tip, that's why it was matched at 1.20 IR you still think it was no value.
yet your selection was a value bet because it was the best horse in the race? your bet was a lay all day long at
those prices. why all excuses for the horse when it loses. goodluck not looking for an argument.

When: 29 Apr 13 17:44
No such thing as a value bet if it get`s well stuffed.

I`m not knocking you, merely stating facts. 3 shorties put up in Hunters the past week and all have been well beat and never ever looked like winning.

No one forces us to follow you and I`ve no complaints. Nobody twisted my arm. I know a guy who knows everything about horses but is a lousy tipster and can`t pick a winner.

Good luck but I`ll not be betting them again.

koi, I have no idea what you are on about, hit a nerve? what do you mean by that.?
By:
koikeeper
When: 29 Apr 13 17:48
No problem with that...just put up my views...but when they get beat they come out of the woodwork...

Differnt story last season when it went to around 13 winners in a row, similar the season before.......but then again, still get the knockers when they win....which begs the question, why do i bother.
By:
wee eck
When: 29 Apr 13 17:52
koi, I am not knocking your efforts just posting that you are not a good

judge, you only post what is obvious, Kohaku is a judge he finds horses that

nobody tips that run well, often win at big prices, no offence meant to you by the way.
By:
jimeen
When: 29 Apr 13 17:52
The reason you bother is because when it goes right, you love the plaudits. When it doesnt and the non believers are out in force, you dont like it.
By:
workrider
When: 29 Apr 13 17:52
AS i said don't let them get to you koi ...keep on doing what you do best and the results will follow...
