koi ,, dont fuss ,,, i always read your posts . i find them informative but of course i do make up my own mind after all its my cash .im sure others must do the same ,,, its a bit rich if people are saying the horses running poorly is down to your reading of form ... i know the stable thought todays horse would win ,,, it didnt ,,, the game moves on ,dont take things too personally ,

I got paid for my opinion for over 20 years so it can`t be that bad.
so why follow someone else? |

Eck.......or Sid,have you got a pal called Eddie Large, cos you are obviously a bit of a comedian,if you and themightymac had followed kois tips in Hunters over the last few years you would know he is well in profit, easily over 100pts and what is it about this place,a guy puts up a well reasoned selection and in this case it gets beat,is that not what a forum's for?
|
|
By:
koi you keep repeating that you were 7000 pounds up over the hunters last season
and I do not disbelieve you, you also state that you wager in units ranging from 100-400 pounds, would it not be a good idea if you were to say when posting your selection what your stake on that particular selection is going to be. |

koi, you aint Dougie Moscrop?

The man puts his opinion up, doesn't lie, aftertime or mislead, states clearly if he's having a bet or not, shorties happen to win a lot of hunter chases, if he's winning does it matter if this is his choice of race to only back in.
If your bone of contention is that anyone can tip up shorties and you feel that's all he does and is doing it purely for attention, then stay away and don't give him the attention, win or lose. |

Big Guru - I don`t doubt he`s in profit and I don`t particularly care. I only care about the 3 I bet, which I don`t criticise him for if you read the posts. I merely state, I`ll be laying his selections from now on, rather than betting them. When you tip winners you get plaudits, when you tip losers you get slagged, that`s the nature of the game. I`m sure he`ll be a hero the next time he picks a winner, but he won`t come on here saying, "Guys, guys, cut out the plaudits. Fed up with you all jumping on the bandwagon with wonderful comments when I tip a winner"! He should ignore the flak and just shut us up by tipping a winner next time.
I enjoy his posts but won`t be betting them. |

I actually dont say anything,,,, |

Koi dont get embroiled in all the b ollox
You put up long before the off with good reasoned comments You dont need to defend your position, although debate is healthy Agree with Gandalfs post |
|
By:
OK mac,but remember if you had laid kois selections over the last 3 years say, you would be well down - and,he's stll up this season,I look forward to him tipping plenty more winners(his tip won yesterday btw)

I got paid for my opinion for over 20 years so it can`t be that bad.
so why follow someone else? Simple answer to that, like 90% of folk on here, I`m a compulsive gambler and bet on everything. At least I admit it and unlike most compulsive gamblers I show a profit each year. I don`t know anything about Hunters Chases so rather than guess, I thought it wiser to follow an expert who knows everything about them. No one forced me to bet them and I assert no blame. I`m sure you`ll come good again but I won`t be betting in them silly "farmers" races ever again. |

you were a bloody good oss tho, the mighty mac !!

I actually dont say anything,,,, That`s the point mate! You should learn to take criticism like water off a ducks back and ignore instead of keeping it going. I`m sure you know your stuff and I`ve just been on the wrong ones. |
|
By:
mightymac, if you think because 3 lost on the trot is the measure of a mans ability to pick winners or to be in profit in the long term, give the game up and go to a G.A. meeting, I don't think I've ever read Koi post that he was an "expert", to even use the word expert when talking about anyone or anything connected to the racing game, says more about you than anything else.

Thanks roo, I certainly was if I say so myself.
Nobody could jump a fence like me.Glad someone knows who I`m named after. Got into an argument with some idiot on American forum and he called me a "big fat b*******" thinking my forum name was after some big roll on hamburger ![]() ![]() |

You could have previewed, Buckstruther was all out to beat Tommysteele 2 lengths at Tranwell on 6 April, who in turn finished 42 lengths behind Special Portrait at Perth last week, when Digg Whitaker unseated at Sedgefield 2 out he was about 4 lengths behind Special Portrait and 6 lengths in front of Be There In Five, who has since won at Hornby Castle. When previosly 6th at Catterick Digg Whitaker finished one place in front of Duke Of Kenford since winner of 2 points.
So with the John Wade stable in fine form (baring the luckless fall of Blazing Bull yesterday) and rider having winners every weekend including at Easingwold yesterday, DIGG WHITAKER looks a fantastic EACH WAY bet. This is a one and only performance, don't ask me to post my bets it would take all night. |

I wonder how many times Dermote stopped it though?

Gandalf, I never ever questioned koi`s abilty to win long term, read my posts, if he says he does then I believe him. All I said is that I won`t be betting them.
I thought everybody on here were "experts". Everybody wins on here, it`s a fact if you read the posts. All pros on here. ![]() |

mentalbird, that was a great in depth analysis. I would definitely have backed it e/w if you had posted it, but I don`t blame you for keeping it to yourself. You won the dosh and that is all that matters. Well done.

Mental I would genuinely be delighted if you did clean up on the race but it sounds a bit like what Zodiac would write. Anyway Koi you are wasting good time on here now when you should be studying for Wednesday.

Always enjoy reading ANALYSIS of races, that is what the forum is for. Koi always gives reasoned analysis for his selections and the other principle in the race. I don;t always share his opinion but everyone ultimately needs to make their own mind up.
I guess that your style of thinking gives greatest weighting to current form and hence that is why your picks are almost always at the forefront of the market. When favourites lose there tends to be greater backlash from the masses and people are looking for someone to blame. |
|
By:
Why has it come to this seething and disrespect on here? FFS happens every time I leave for a short time, how can we defend the forum from the likes of the RP if you attack the likes of Koi? ![]() |
|
By:
Koi offers up an opinion on a horseracing forum and gets attacked by trolls -some of em old age pensioners who should know better ffs-
This is England.....as they say in 2013 -great innit |
